I stayed as a long term guest for 6 months this past year and I loved everything about the Seaview Beach Resort. Right on the ocean, I listened to the waves and the sea lions every night over the winter. Paddle boarding, scuba, kayaking and sailing are a few of the water activities. The opportunities for photography are amazing with the sea life, the sunsets and sunrises.

My dog and I felt like it was home. All the amenities needed in the kitchen for cooking for myself were supplied, along with a full-size oven and fridge. There's also a microwave.

I stayed with my dog in the studio cottage for 4 of the six months and, although it was small, it had everything we needed. For 2 months, we stayed in cottage #1, a 2-bedroom unit that looks right out onto the sea. The bedrooms are quite small but the cottage has an electric fireplace which was really warming and comfortable over the cool winter months. There's no bathtub except in the two 3-bedroom cottages.

Reliable WiFi is supplied along with cable TV. The beds are very comfortable.

Maureen, the manager, is an amazing person. She is on top of every detail in the 8 cottages and around the property. She was always on top of any request to make my stay better. I walked my dog in the dark in the winter months and she supplied a lantern to make the evening walk safer. She always thinks of the little extras!

This resort has a regular group of people who visit year after year and they have entertaining stories about their stays and the history of this cozy resort. The Little Qualicum River estuary is just down the beach and the wildlife sanctuary just across the street. A very quiet neighborhood with lots of wildlife and such friendly people. Excellent area for walking or bicycling.

My dog and I were truly sorry to leave and we go back and visit as often as possible.

Quiet, cosy, cabins 1 to 4 are right on the beach. With no light pollution you get a perfect view of the stars on a clear night. Near a bird sanctuary on the estuary.
