The liquidation sale is a joke. Only 10% to 30% off? There were still lots of items left on the rack. Went to Wal-Mart instead and bought the item there at a fraction of a price. No wonder you're going out of business.
Google maps shuts fown when you are near the destination. Then, while driving, i ALWAYS have to select "restart navigation. Then the mapmight come back long enough for me to see where im going. This is stupid, as im driving and cant always find peoples addres. I want the map and address to stay on my screen until I am done and actually know where to go. This is very very annoying.
So happy that Simpson Sears in Nanaimo is closing forever and the one in Victoria bc. As well. There prices have been horrible for years. Over priced. And horrible customer service. Both locations are really dirty and there washrooms nasty. Now the whole company has gone completely bankrupt. Eventually all of there outdated stores will be gone!! Walmart is the dominator now. The bay may be next on the chopping blocks.
They've really changed their prices...some great deals!
Sears is awesome, the Nanaimo store has great staff. The lingerie dept ladies spent an hour helping my daughter and were very helpful dealing with her particular style needs. Thanks so much, love the store, and so glad it is staying open.
I spoke with a man from the Appliance department at the Sears store in Nanaimo. He was SO helpful with my order of a dishwasher; helping with the order, installation details, and warranty. Thank you so much. Great service!!
This store has the classic department store offerings: men's, women's and children's clothing, furniture, hardware and appliances at reasonable prices.
It's an okay Sears. If your going here to buy appliances or other larger-scale items, they don't have a very large inventory and many things will come from the mainland with a delay.
Called 3 times to 2 different departments and was not put through to one department said the number I was told to push wasn't recognized and the 2nd department there was no answer. So I went to Homesense :) as I didn't want to go into Sears if they didn't have what I was looking for.
We have been loyal Sears customers for many years now purchasing all our major appliances, beds, lawnmowers and thousands of dollars of Craftsman tools there. Recently, after trying to exchange some tools at the store on warranty, I was told you now have to call Sears customer service at their 1-800 number. After 3 phone calls over a few months, they tell me the tools are no longer available, (funny they are on the website) and they are sending me a $10 gift certificate, for about $50 worth of tools.
