    Savage is very well known by locals on the island. In my opinion there the best bike shop to do business with. Amazing prices for rentals too!

    Attentive, consistent service. I couldn't be more happy with these folks. They sourced specific lock cylinder and latches for my hepco/becker side cases and I had them within a week. Just excellent response and service. It's no wonder this business is attaining a high reputation above other moto shops in Victoria.

    I live in Vancouver and will still take my Triumph to Savage for service. I could go on and on about what makes them great, but, let me just say this;

    The last time I took my Triumph there I took the first ferry across from Vancouver to Victoria and there was one other motorcycle waiting for the boat. It was also a Triumph.

    "Where you heading?" I asked.

    "Savage Cycles for a service."

    "Me too!" I said.

    He had also had bad experiences with the Vancouver Triumph dealer. But it says a lot about how good the shop in Victoria is if you're willing to add $90 round trip ferry costs and a day of your life getting there and back to get your motorcycle serviced by them. And there were two of us that morning doing just that.

    Savage is a great shop. They completed the work faster than they said they would and were super friendly the whole time I was there.

    Too often, one hears about dismal aftersales support at motorcycle and car dealerships. I can say, without equivocation, that both the pre- and after-sales service at Savage Cycles have been second to none. I had an intermittent, but major problem with my Triumph Thruxton 1200R. Savage Cycles went way above and beyond any reasonable expectations to address and fully rectify the problem. They couldn’t have been more concerned and helpful. Over the past 35 or so years, I have bought quite a few vehicles, some new and some pre-owned. Makes have included: Toyota, Volvo, Mercedes, Porsche, Honda, VW and Jaguar. None of the dealerships provided a buying experience and service that matched that of Savage Cycles. I couldn’t recommend Savage Cycles more highly.

    Have been riding a Ducati for 2 1/2 years (bought used). Savage Cycle has been extremely friendly and supportive of all riders regardless of brand. I completely support this shop and have purchased my new Panigale to prove it. Great service, honest and fair pricing and good people.

    I had a very positive experience.

    In the summer of 2016, I had Savage Cycles replace both tires on my 1979 Honda Goldwing. Recently, the rear inner tube was losing air due to a pinch. When I returned to Savage Cycles, they immediately fixed the problem without argument.

    Savage Cycles stands behind their warranties. This is excellent business.

    I am the friend that Marcel is referring to below and I can say that I was very impressed with the service we received. As he mentioned, we were coming through Victoria and on very short notice Savage Cycle was able to accommodate both of us and get us on our way within 2-1/2hrs. Laura, Scott, and Ken were great and very helpful. They also opened up their showroom to us which also allowed us to have a break while our bikes were being worked on. It was one of the best experiences I had dealing with motorcycle service centers.

    I was coming through the Victoria area on a large bike trip on the West Coast. My friend realized that he got bad advice from his dealership in Calgary, and that his rear tire was unlikely to safely last the duration of the trip. With only an hour's warning on a Tuesday, Savage Cycles were able to change both of his tires out, and my front as well for good measure (both of our fronts were probably fine for the rest of the trip, but they had them in stock so we opted to get those swapped as well). We got to the dealership at around noon, and were back on the road by 2:30.

    Thanks to Ken, Laura and Scott for getting us back on the road so quickly.

    I have been dealing with Savage Cycles since moving to the Island in 2014. I bought a slightly used Tiger 800 from Alex and since then (and before) I have been pleased to do business with them. All the staff that I have met; Alex, Mike, Laura, Brent Ken, Dave - and now new guy Scott have all treated me fairly, respectfully and friendly. I just purchased 2 tires and had them mounted and balanced. While waiting I chatted with most of them and like always, enjoyed our conversations. The tire price was fair, service was excellent and I left, happy to do business with them. I highly recommend them.
