This RV Resort is excellent! This is the second winter we've stayed here. Last year for 4 months and this year not quite 2. It is right on the ocean so the view is beautiful.

After spending time in over 25 different RV parks, Salmon Point RV definitely takes the cake. Absolutely horrible. They claim to have excellent customer service, which is completely untrue, unless you enjoy having the prejudiced manager, Monica, look down upon you. Please take my advice and do not go there. They also lied to us about what site we were getting, and then tried to charge us top dollar even though we had to downgrade sites due to their mistake. Worst. Place. Ever.

Very nice view, good quantity of food, but restaurant hasn't been kept up so well, very average service and ambiance

I struggle with this review because there is nothing wrong with this resort, yet I won't give it more than three stars. I believe that it's because I am not the right fit for this resort. When I pull out my RV I want to be camping. Salmon Point Resort is not camping. It is, however, very well kept, quiet and has a great view. If I was looking for a long term residence, or coming to the area for fishing or other event, I would stay here as long as my main reason was not camping or expecting adventure right out my door step. At best there is a nature trail from the park. It appears that the retired community is loving this place. They seem to know one another and get together for visits. All in all they seem to have a sense of community staying here. Pricing is geared for the retired as well. At least in my opinion it is. The nightly rate is based on two people. You pay extra for any person over the age of 6 and we had to pay an extra dollar a night for our dog which I find odd. I understand paying extra in hotels, or if I was renting their trailer, to cover extra cleaning, but not when my dog is staying in my trailer. Who knows, maybe someone will come by and vacuum my trailer tomorrow :) Anyway, no real complaints. Just not for me.

Spectacular location, comfortable surroundings. A great place to come for a meal. The service was friendly and efficient. The views are amazing. Bring warm clothing if the weather demands so you can eat at their outside tables.

The campsites are tight but well maintained. Staff is very friendly. We got to see whales from the group campfire which was an added bonus.

Good clean park, accommodations and amenities. Wonderful location. Good staff. Manager needs to work on her people skills with customers and especially with her staff.
