Absolutely the shittiest service ever. The store is open until 21:30. I had purchased an item around 20:20 earlier at the Aesop counter. Returned 20:45 after realizing I had the wrong product. Store clerk was leaving and told me that the counter is closed. I indicated that I was not going to return the following day (store was open until 9:30 pm!). I asked to exchange it for another product. She called her colleague from another counter, spoke in Chinese or Korean to provide me the refund and she darted. Her colleague refunded the amount at another register and evidently no one was interested in selling me the product that I was looking for. I will never return to Saks nor spend a dollar there. I would rate it less than 1 if given the chance. Ordering the item from Amazon instead. Dinosaur of a retailler if you think serving customers this way will keep you in the game. Name should be changed to Sucks.
Never thought racism would be present in Toronto. Christmas shopping with my mom yesterday was an awful experience at the Saks Fifth Avenue in Sherway Gardens. My mom was choosing between Tomford cosmetics items and a male Caucasian employee steps in her direction aggressively and blocks her vision of the products and doesn't move for 7 minutes staring us in the face with an awkward smile. After realizing he did not want us to purchase the product or be in the store we were pointed in the direction to leave. After walking out of the store but feeling disrespected my mom came back to share feedback with another employee who seemed to be the manager in the Tom Ford area, this Caucasian lady smiled without looking at us and did not say a word until we left, then she snickered goodbye and Merry Christmas. My mother and I went to the Nordstrom in the mall and finished our Christmas shopping. I hope no one else goes through the experience we went through, colour is apparently banned in Saks Fifth and Tom Ford in Sherway.
FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! $290.62 Style code: 0400089861824 BLUE SIZE 8.5 UK Toronto, Canadá I tried to purchase a pair of shoes at Saks Fifth Avenue (Style code: 0400089861824) at CAD 290.62 in blue size UK 8.5 (US 9.5) online and over the phone. Saks costumer service wasn't able to help me. First they told me that Gucci didn't allow them to ship products to Canada, second, the made me call to the stores in Toronto to see if the had it in stock (which they didn't), third, I told the customer service representative to ship it to the US to a relative address and they weren't able to price match it at CAD 290.62. So, I don't know what's the point to have a product online that cannot be purchased in-store or online. Customer service did not provide any solution as they told me they didn't have any clue how to solve this problem. Now, MISSED this opportunity because they didn't figure out how to do it. Excellent service and a pleasure to shop in. Our sales person went out of her way to assist in. So pleased.
The customer service at this store is awful and none of the representatives are at all helpful or will even try to help you. I brought in a purse that I purchased here less than a year ago that is now breaking, after talking to numerous people they finally took my bag to repair. The only person that apparently can help you in the store is the purse manager that is never in the store or ever answers there phone. After a month my purse finally came in and I received a message that it was at the store. I tried to go pick it up and the customer service rep told me that she could not go look for my already purchased purse and I needed to come back when the manager was there (which she never is). She didn't even try to ask one person or go look for it. This is the type of response I get everytime I inquire on my purse and it seems like they are trying to defer the issue and not deal with it. I'm confused on how they do not have any process for communication or cannot use their systems in this store to update status of items and why only one person in the entire store that you can never get a hold of is the only person that can apparently help you.
Quite frankly I'm not sure how they even function properly given lack of initiation, poor communication and quite frankly extremely rude customer service.
I finally saw my purse after arguing with the customer service rep and the purse was not even repaired, so I had to give it back to them. All I would like is for my purse to be fixed and returned without having to argue with customer service representatives.
Cosmetics and Fragrances department rocks! Great manager with a great staff!
Such a beautiful store, such nice sales people, such shabby service from managers and SaksFirst!
The SaksFirst credit card service is a great disappointment. We made a huge purchase and were told we would get triple points for it if we signed up for the credit card. We never got the points. Called SF. I was told wrong numberit was the number on the back of the card. I told them we were canadian, so they figured out how to direct our call. I was then told our purchase didn't qualify, even if the jewelry manager guaranteed us it did. I asked to speak to someone about this. We were put on hold for 20 plus minutes, then disconnected. I thought it was a mistake, but have called to try to rectify the situation FOUR times: All ending in being put on hold till I went away.
We did not receive our first credit card bill, and when we finally did, it was the second bill (Huh? where was our first bill?) so there was almost $400 in interest on there!
Our sales person has texted me back and forth promising to rectify the situation, and she is doing all she can. But even she is being given the shaft by her own store. She has been told by several managers that it is fixed or they are fixing it.not fixed! Three months into this nowAll i want for christmas is my points and credit card fixed.
Loved the Chanel perfume counter
Nobody ever answers the phone in the shoe department to the point where I always have to go through customer service to get through. Also, there are VERY FEW staff members at this location. Last time I was at this location I had to wait for the ONLY associate to finish up with his customer before I was finally able to get the shoes that I had on hold. Turned out they weren't the right size, that's fine. He was able to find the same shoe in my size. Oh, but when I say shoe, I mean shoe. Singular. The shoe fit great so I asked for the other. The associate and another employee looked in the area for the matching shoe and could not find it. When I asked where this shoe could be they told me it was "probably somewhere in the back because an employee probably forgot it back there" but refused to check the back. Instead they asked me to write down my number and promised somebody would call me when they found the matching shoe. It's been 3 days and no call. Definitely won't be returning to this location, especially because this wasn't my first negative experience at this location. The same sales associate I dealt with this time refused to let me try any shoes on the last time I was there. Seems like a snobby problem considering the time I wasn't allowed to try shoes on I wasn't dressed very well since I just got off of work and was wearing my old Coach purse. I came in on my day off this time wearing better clothing and my Louis Vuitton and magically I'm escorted to a couch and given shoes instead of escorted out of the area and told if I bought the shoes I wanted I could return them after wearing them if they're not ruined as if he was assuming I couldn't afford them. Not impressed at all. I guess I'll just keep ordering from the website instead.
I have been trying to reach customer service for weeks. Manager never calls back. Called back several times, left several messages. The poor associate at counter says there is nothing she can do. I need the number for Head Office for Canada. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
Store has the usual glitz but phone service falls flat on its face. Usually, order online from the U.S site but thought hey, I'll try the Sherway location. Firstly the receptionist had zero personality, ok ..bad day maybe, transfers me to fragrances where it rings. And rings and rings until disconnecting me. Now I can't get through to the operator again as it too is ringing and ringing. Not impressed!
I just wanted to share with you the amazing customer experience that my sister Sissy and I experienced today at Saks Fifth Avenue at Sherway Gardens. We were greeted with warm smiles and friendly service from the staff from the minute we walked in through the door. A special thank you to Henry whom came up to us just to introduce himself and ask if we needed any assistance. His friendly smile quickly warmed our hearts for he also wanted to introduce us to his boss and GM of Saks Sherway (I believe that was his title ). We have never been treated so nicely in a luxury goods department store (aside from Selfridges in London) and when we told this to Henry and his boss they told us that their aim is to create a warm and friendly shopping experience for everyone no matter whom walks through those doors. That is simply amazing and has solidified my continued patronage well into the future. A big bravo and welcome to Toronto, Saks Fifth Avenue! You have great people working there!
Disgusted by terrible customer service today. It is not an excuse to say we are new and canadian. Saks has lost a family of regular saks shoppers, but I doubt hudsons bay cares. I mean the excuse for poor service was "we're canadian". Shameful.
Highly over rated. To high-end for blue collar worked and out of range for Seniors on fixed budget. Sherway has become very high end Mall good for Mall walking only. Thanks Tim's and MacDonald's you can get good cup of coffee.
Pusateri's is in the lower lever here, you can get literally anything you want. Stop in for lunch n libations, all of a sudden, its not that expensivelol
The restaurant service in food hall is awful. Unfriendly and disorganized. They could not even deliver an order of cup of tea without following up. The staff appears not qualified.
Shopped here during a business trip from New York for shoes and clothing, was helped by a beautiful and wonderful personal shopper named Christien Lam whose specialty are women's shoes and handbags and accessories along with mens shoes and footwear. She was very fast and professional with what we asked for, she quickly grabbed each item brand new from the stock room for us ensuring that everything was up to par for the money we were spending. She treated us with respect and was super friendly and funny! She went above and beyond for us when she didnt have to, shopping with us throughout the store with my business partner without pressuring once to buy anything. Even though it is a commission based salary for them. She was attentive to my shopping needs and desires, she gave us incredible customer service, which left us an lasting impression, so we'll definitely be keeping in contact with her for all mine and my friends and family future visits and purchases to and from Saks Fifth Ave in Toronto!!! Retail needs more people like her. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! We exchanged contact information, if you have any inquiries or need help with any purchases from SAKS FIFTH AVE. Christien Lam: 647-501-9217
Not happy to have just returned home with my new earrings to find one doesn't close/clasp properly. The clerk would/should have noticed this when he cleaned the earrings, and then again when he boxed them. Not happy that I now have to go back to the store again. Not what I would expect from Saks.
I went yesterdayloved itmade some purchases.very happygreat atmosphere to shop at
No one was around the staff were talking to each other
