We got our wedding flowers (aisle and centrepieces) from the Floral Department, and they were beautiful! The staff were great to deal with, and very accommodating with the detail. I was hesistant at first about ordering from here, but they did an amazing job! Highly recommend them for brides looking for an affordable and reliable florist in the Canmore area.

It's a grocery store so take my next comments with that in mind.
We ordered a couple of paninis from the fresh food area at the back. They were pretty much bread with a few slices of meat in between.
We were sitting in the cafe area and got to witness a very unorganized "Get your picture with Santa" display. It looked like a family run operation which was cute however very chaotic and challenging. No one really knew what they were doing. No formal line. Great bakery and produce. Prices are consistent with the region, which is great for residents and visitors alike.

Very good selection for meals on the go. Only 1 washroom for public use and not very clean. Liquor outlet next door.

The most reasonable priced place to shop in town. There is one cashier (I don't want to sound rude but I'm going to describe him accurately) he's a rather large first Nations man with tattoos on his hands. He is absolutely amazing always fast and helpful.

Found everything I wanted and more. Great deli! But very busy during tourist season. They have lots of cashiers but still be prepared to wait in line.

The only Safeway I've seen with a Chinese Buffet style for customers. WOW! Also i've seen more Indigenous people employed here than anywhere else and am impressed with that alone. Great ethics all around!

Like many, we drive to Canmore from Calgary for the weekend. We do our grocery shopping when we get there Friday afternoons and so does everybody else! This Safeway is an absolute zoo, especially in long weekends. The aisles are jammed with people and the checkout lines are all 4, 5 or 6 people deep.
That said, they seem to be able to keep the shelves stocked and the staff are very helpful and friendly.response / report this review
