8 hour days in the shop to make up for lost time during early months of covid. Awesome welding program, would highly recommend this school to anybody wanting to learn trades.
BE WARNED!!! 👇SAIT unethical and unfair business practice that you need to be aware of so you don't waste your time and money!
I applied to SAIT in May for an OPEN advertised program, waited almost 3 months for an update on my application status only to be told that the said program, been advertised as Open to the public up until the 1st week of July was actually filled up by early February.
I reached out to the CEO, who passed my concerns on to his registrar but no one seems to bother addressing why an institution would advertised a non-existent program defrauding applicants of their hard earned money and causing so much frustration and heartache.
So if you wouldn't want to go through the frustration and unfair treatment that I received from SAIT, seek admissions somewhere else and not with SAIT because that "advertised program" on their website might actually have been filled up months back or practically non-existent.
I wish there was a way to give zero star. I will keep posting this on all platform to warn applicants and expose this unethical business practice until SAIT takes responsibility for this and make it right.
Very neat place. The campuses here are so modern, and technically advanced. Came here on a field trip with my high school, and it was amazing. They offer so many Interactive programs for kids that haven't enrolled yet due to age, and high school graduate time. The tour guides were super friendly. I had a ton of fun trying this place out. Amazing experience., and quality visit.
Liked their campus 😀😀😀
Fantastic campus, the blending of historic architecture with modern designs makes the campus stand out from the surrounding. The view of the downtown skyline was truly magnificent.
It is an amazing experience for me during my hospitality management program. I really like this college for my program compare to other schools here in Calgary.
Still can't believe that the printing credits were taken away from EDDT (engineering design and drafting)students. We print on a daily basis and now we have to pay from our own pockets to print. We print the most out of everyone at SAIT. It looks like SAIT wants to make more money after our tuitions were increased this year. For us to have printing credits we have to be sponsored. Well why don't you sponsor us?
I think SAIT is better off sponsoring us otherwise they will be paying more money fixing lab computers we could damage.
I came here as a student for the day and everything was very very confusing and the teachers didn't even welcome me or know who i was. I have a loved one that goes here and they are very depressed lately she has no time for herself and she stays up all night doing homework she cries when shes up late doing homework and i have to calm her down because any further and she might kill herself. Please get better teachers and instead of giving out so much homework and telling students to just read the textbook just teach them and cater to their ways of learning we shouldn't make kids pay loads of money to get a half ass learning experience.
Completed a Business Intelligence program in the School of Information and Communication Technology. This is an excellent program from a school that has a sterling reputation among students and employers in industry. Facilities are of a very high quality (library, study area with table lamps and wood furniture, food court etc.), all set in a beautiful campus with a view of Calgary's downtown core. In addition, the resources are all geared to help you successfully learn and also find a good job. The staff are simply the sweetest and most helpful and instructors top notch. The school keeps in touch with employers who are frequently on campus attending events such as class presentations and suchthey eventually (or shortly as is sometimes the case) hire students right out of the program. Research the program you are interested in so you know it's right for you, then make use of all the excellent facilities and resources available and most importantly: give it your best! SAIT will not disappoint.
I graduated from ITSD. I love their approach on teaching. It's practical! You graduate and you know how to do your job. The things I did practically by hand are the things I still remember until today. I would go back to take another diploma one day.
Great faculty and beautiful campus, but do yourself a favor and get a bicycle or a transit pass because parking is not cheap. It does have a convenient location though, and lots of awesome places to get food nearby.
Great place to learn. Smaller class size, and knowledgeable instructors means better chance to talk. Campus has a great location and amenities nearby, plus right on the c train line.
Graduate of the respiratory therapy program! And only have great things to say about SAIT and the campus! Has a great view of the city and is a spectacular campus! The teachers and staff where very very helpful and provided a great education
Took the first 2 years of my electrical apprenticeship here, nothing but good to say about the facility, instructors, and campus itself. Great location.
Sait is one of the most popular colleges in Calgary. All buldings and roads are in very good conditions, so it is really safe place for students and pedestrians. From the main campus Heritage Hall you can see one of the best views of downtown.
Great facilities. Staff needs to work in improve their customer service.
Careful. Do not forget that Customers have a choice.
