Rockwell's Restaurant

Established in 1987, Rockwell's is a family owned restaurant that has grown and flourished over the years. The restaurant is named after the great American painter and illustrator, Norman Rockwell. The two owners of the restaurant, Mike and Jim Theodossiou, still run the day to day operations of Rockwell's making sure the customers are happy, the service is great and the food is hot and fresh!

The two brothers are from the beautiful island of Rhodes. They left their homeland by boat and immigrated to Canada where they arrived in Halifax at Pier 21 around 1956. Having lived most of their lives in Ottawa, they consider themselves to be part the community, raising their families here. Coming from the Mediterranean, great food and hospitality is a staple of the Greek culture as well as the culture at Rockwell's Restaurant. Although the two brothers have a major part in the day to day operation of the Restaurant, their children, are now involved with the business and are quickly learning all the skills necessary to help run this great restaurant.
