  Too bad Terry Fox isn't around to see all of this since Rick was inspired by him. But I'm quite sure he watching above with a smile & a few tears. I'm so glad I got involved with the Man in Motion World to 30 years ago & kept in touch ever since. Just wish I was still living in the Vancouver area so the contact would be easier. Thanks to the internet it makes the world a little smaller.

  I met Rick at the Youth Leadership Summit in May 2017 and he has an incredible aura. He has such a genuine presence and smile that just being around him inspires me to use my talents to make the world a more inviting place. It was great to meet you Rick! You and your team are incredible.

  I think Rick remains an icon of a Man in Motion who let nothing by way of excuse stand in his mind as a barrier to communicating love for his fellow human beings who suffer loss by reasons that are many. Thanks for inspiring us all Rick.

  I still can't believe I had to turn down meeting you in the Saddledome, but got to Participate in the "Many in Motion Tour, through Okotoks," for a Tim Hus Concert in Hussar, that got snowed in, and nobody showed up anyway! (Long Story, but true!)

  I think your organization is great! I remember when I met you at the end of your tour. I was picked to present a check to you when I was in Brentwood Elementary School in Burnaby. I still have the pictures that the Mayor of Burnaby sent me in the mail of you and me on stage in the parking lot in front of the whole school at Brentwood Mall.

  I saw Rick Hansen in Thorold Ontario when he did the "Man in Motion World Tour. As he reached thee top of the hill and came over the train tracks I stepped up and handed him an envelope with a donation and he smiled. Never forgot that day! Truly an AMAZING PERSON. GOD Bless him!

  A reality of those who have overcome physical challenges because everyone must be treated with full equality and provided with services. I credit the Rick Hansen Foundation with enhancing the lives of so many as well as advocating for Accessibility.
