The Art of Building photography competition is an international showcase for the very best digital photography of the built environment. It is open to both professional and amateur photographers. Eaton's may be long gone, but its decades-old animated Christmas displays are alive and well at Saskatoon's Western Development Museum. Ruth Bitner (former WDM employee) takes us behind the scenes with this iconic family display. This display runs to January 6, 2019. Prairies North has been one of my subscriptions for a few years and I wait patiently for its arrival in the mail quarterly. I find the quality of information fills various facets of interest for me. It's new style gives it a "coffee table" look and feel. It includes gardening, featured photography, Saskatchewan history, places to see & things to do in the province, recipes and food information tidbits, just to name some of its great aspects. Prairies North has something for everyone no matter your age. very much like this province of Saskatchewan. One must just be willing to have a look & Enjoy!

I have been a subscriber for two decades, and l learn something about my province in every issue. I am proud that Saskatchewan has a publication that celebrates our province. The best way for me to share my world with my friends in other provinces is to send them a subscription to Prairies North Magazine.

I have been a subscriber since Day 1 when it was known as "Saskatchewan Naturally" and have always been impressed with all it's Saskatchewan content. It is very nice to have a magazine of this calibre dedicated to this province.
I have been very fortunate to have had numerous photographs featured in the magazine as well as 3 in the 2017 calendar. Even though I now live in Montreal, the Prairies will always be home.response / report this review -

Every year, my eldest son buys me a new subscription to Prairies North. When it arrives in my Indiana mailbox, I read it cover to cover! I have saved every copy and read them more than once. My Hoosier friends love the photography.
