I was really impressed at how fast they were able to come out, had called for an installation of a smart thermostat that I thought needed a C wire to be added.
Was quoted about $150.00 for the job. When the electrician came it turned out I did not need the wire and he was able to do the install in about 15 min with the existing wires.
A week later I received a bill for $250.00 way over the estimate and the job was easier then expected.
Followed up with the owner today and was glad to resolve a miscommunication about the rates, very happy with the resolution and looking forward to using Powertec againresponse / report this review -

I originally had Eric out for an estimate and he was the only company that went and checked my basement. Other 3 didn't bother and said it wasn't necessary. Well it was because Eric found a live wire just laying on my furnace ducts! He fixed it right there for me as it was a fire hazard. When booked, Stephen and Dan showed up right on time and were very professional and helpful. They even cleaned everything when they were done! The cost was very fair considering another company told me since it was a small job he was charging me double because he had bills to pay as well! What nerve. And it was a well know company as well so beware. All in all I have already told friends about the service I received and will definitely be having Powertec as my number 1 go to for any future work! Thanks guys your awesome!

Everything was great, from the original quote to the completion of work. Alex was our electrician, he was friendly and efficient. He didn't mind the dogs and made an effort to keep our house functional while getting all of our wiring replaced. Friendly service, best quoted price of the half a dozen we got quotes from, definitely recommend!!
