We stayed at the Pomeroy Inn & Suites during a very tough time. When we registered for our stay, the front desk staff promised to take care of us and they certainly fulfilled their promise. All the staff members were friendly and kind. They went above and beyond in accommodating our needs and the needs of our extended family.
The kitchenette room was neat and comfortable. The bed and bedding was some of the coziest I've had at a hotel. The kitchenette was well stocked and very useful over our long stay. The dishwash was very loud so be mindful of that when you choose to run it. The hotel has a great pool and a WONDERFUL continental breakfast. It has smoking rooms but never once did we notice a smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway. The housekeeping staff keep the hotel clean and smelling great.
We were at the hotel for a week and it really felt like home for that time.response / report this review -

There was no hot water for showers one night. The pool and hot tub are very nice. The exercise room didn't have many different free weights to choose from. Breakfast is good with lots of options. Very friendly staff.

Room 215. Decent room and bed. Breakfast was average. Unfortunately, this is supposed to be a non-smoking room but clearly isn't as the smoke was very noticeable.

Nice rooms and a really good breakfast. Not spotless in the room but most things were clean. Would stay again if in town.

My Mother Sister and I just spent 5 nights there. It was very clean. All the staff are Fantastic. Every morning there is complementary breakfast which is very very good. We highly recommend the Pomeroy. Will definitely stay there again.

I honestly believe that sleep is a big part of your stay. so if you dont have a good sleep, you might be grumpy in the morning. pillows are extremly puffy, and they dont offer any other ones. So you pretty much screwed. I couldnt get comfy sleep on those. At least your could put 2 types of pillows on beds but no. Other than that, stay was fine. Good breakfast, good rooms. I actually got with full kitchen room. they have a pool and a hot tub which is actually pretty cold for a hot tub. I sat there for an hour and couldnt break any sweat. no a big deal thogh.

Decent hotel for the price, very helpful staff at the front desk. Room showed some wear but nothing serious. Large swimming pool with slide.

On the South end of town with easy access to Highway. Lots of parking space.
Grocery store near by with petro canads and shell gas stations plus a few eating spots
