Great experience. Staff there were quite helpful and friendly. Canoe rentals were a bit overpriced, and the restroom facilities were quite far from the parking/rental areas. The Tip was quite cool. Visitor facilities were quite clean and well maintained. Lots of photo opportunities.

Surprising very nice walk through the woods. They do have shuttle buses that will take you to and from the point up until 4. I recommend going either for sunrise or sunset. Its incredible what you may see.

Absolutely beautiful. I've lived in Southern Ontario all of my life and this was my first time here and I've been missing out. Great beaches, lot of hiking and biking trails. It's a stunning park and I'm looking forward to going back next year!

Nice spot to walk and relax when you get to the point during the late afternoon to watch the sunset. The signs weren't kidding about the stable flies, they wouldn't leave my dogs alone, heck they even bit me a couple times. I sadly came during a heatwave at the end of September, with that humidity that's there, it was sweltering! Still lovely and the water was so clear and cool.

Great day trip spot! Biked the Centennial Trail from the Park Orientation lot to the Tip Exhibit Area (parked bikes to walk to the Tip). Total return trip was about 13km. Next time we would park at Sanctuary lot and start from there.
Facilities are amazing! Clean and convenient bathrooms. So many beach access points - loved North West Beach for a swim break.

Point Pelee is a magical place. I've seen so many animals--Turkey, salamander, deer.. The 2.8 km trail through the woods is like a fairy tale. The beaches are beautiful and the water is warm (don't swim off the tip!). Most of the employees at the nature centre are friendly and full of info. We must treasure this place 🌷

Beautiful park. We went in late April and saw a wide variety of birds. Lots of nice hiking/biking trails and calm beaches. The place is almost empty during the week.

Free parking entrance throughout the year That's amazing specially because this park is a nice getaway for Windsorites and others in the region.
The marsh boardwalk is fascinating every season as there's a different look to it in summer and in the dry seasons alike. The wooden pathway is very strange, different and unique as it just takes you into the marshlands. Noticed there was this one bird (bright red spot on its neck) that was probably eating off the grass in the marshes.
The trails, beaches and the tip of the park are all the different aspects of the park that needs to be explored and experienced!response / report this review -

A relatively small but nice park. Been here in early March. A pleasant surprise was found when stopped at the end of the road parking, at the west side of the land facing Lake Erie, the tree branches, the stones, were covered with a layer of ice in white 1-2 cm in thickness. Very pretty.

Having a National Park basically in the backyard is wonderful. Pt. Pelee is a small park, but has several distinct ecological areas, wetlands, Carolinian forest, savanna and is a bird watcher's paradise. Nice trail system throughout the park, good for biking, hiking, even cross-country skiing. They offer dark-sky nights throughout the year for celestial viewing opportunities away from the city lights. Large wetland area offers plenty of wide open water for canoe and kayak.
