  Staff are always friendly and helpful. Even with a small Men's section in store that has a mostly female target market they are always very attentive. Have bought from them many times and will continue to do so, and I'm not even a local!

  I recently purchased a shirt dress/blouse from PLENTY clothing while I was one a family visit in Victoria. Excited by my recent purchase, I tore off the price tags so I could wear my new shirt. I wore it home on the ferry when my husband made the comment that it looks all wrinkled and that it had totally lost it’s shape. Now, to be fair, it doesn’t have that much shape to begin with, but my husband made the additional comment “ It looks like I’m wearing a sack.” Extremely disappointed, I tried contacting the head office in Vancouver but nobody returned my call. I was out doing errands so I decided to stop in the store in the neighbourhood. I was honest about wearing the shirt and the “assistant manager” said that she could not return it and there was nothing she could do about it. I really wasn’t interested in a refund as I had worn it. I would have been happy with a credit but she would not give me that either. I asked her for the head office phone number and I went back to my car. I tried to call the number the assistant manager had given me but it was wrong. I then googled the store and phoned the head office. The person I spoke with took all the details of the garment and told em that it was from a manufacturer that was not their brand so she would have to contact the manufacturer and get back to me. That was 10 days ago. I phoned the head office today and the person in charge called me back about 15 minutes later. She told me that this item is brand new and, because they had not had any other complaints, that they were unwilling to refund the purchase. I was then told that perhaps in a couple of months, after the product had been purchased and tried by more customers, and if there were additional complaints, that they would revisit my claim. Just some additional notes, the item was full price and not on sale. The purchase came to $133.28 with taxes so it was not cheap. I made the purchase on September 15, 2017 and I have the recipe for it. I worked in retail as a manager/supervisor for Dalmys of Canada. I had a direct relationship with the Perlman Brothers who owned the company in Montreal. In all my experiences, I have never faced such a lack of customer service or good faith. I realize that there are people out there who take advantage of situations but this is not one of them. I am a valued customer of Hills Department Store, Still Life and many other establishments in Vancouver or wherever I go. I try to support businesses that are small because I know how difficult the retail business can be for owners. Where have the days of the customer should be given satisfaction and trust in order to promote good relations and repeat business. This is obviously a reflection of our times. I told the head office person that I would never enter their store again and that I would be using my connections in Social Media to complain about this company’s polices. I am in the process of doing this now.

  Definitely on the higher end price wise but they carry good brands and high quality items. Sales are few and far between but great value when they happen. Stock rotates frequently. Decent sized men's section and a significant woman's section upstairs.

  The largest of the plenty stores, located in Vancouver, this location has two floors of women's and men's clothing and accessories. Staff are helpful and attentive. The women's change rooms can be quite busy, but move quickly. Mind the gap between curtains on the change rooms, the curtain does not quite close. They have very good seasonal sales that last a good amount of time, but sizes sell out quickly so go earlier than later.
