Signal Hill Circle Playground

In January 2016, the City of Calgary alerted our community that our wooden playground structure had outlived its useful life, would no longer be maintained by the City, and that removal of the equipment will occur within 18 months (citing safety concerns). The City is NOT funding a new playground.

We are a group of neighbours in Signal Hill Circle working to fund raise and replace the equipment. We believe that having a sizable, robust playground is vital to our community. We know that our playground sees a high degree of use, and that some families even travel to visit it!

Replacing the playground benefits children, increases property values, and maintains the family friendly character of our neighbourhood.

This community page will be regularly updated to let you know about the progress we are making with replacing the playground. We will update you on playground design, volunteer opportunities, and fundraising events. We welcome and encourage your involvement.
