I have been seeing the physiotherapist Nicole Stokes at Pillars of Wellness for pelvic floor related issues that were resulting in severe Coccyx pain for the last couple of years. To the point where I was unable to sit and snuggle with my 2 year old at bed time or to watch cartoons on the couch. I had been doing regular physio and chiro care but new there was a piece of the puzzle missing.
I am so happy to have found Nicole, seriously. Even after my first session with her I experienced immediate relief of the pain AND I was able to sit and watch an entire movie with my toddler the next day without having to move or shift weight to get comfortable.
Not only that, but my chiropractor has noticed that my upper back and neck are adjusting better and I have personally noticed my flexibility has greatly improved to allow full range squats during my workouts.
I highly recommend Nicole to everyone and I now swear by the fact that EVERYONE should see a pelvic floor physio.
First impressions being important , upon first attending PoW I found the premises to be very clean and the staff I first met to be very personable, helpful and accommodating to my schedule. Appointments begin on time every time, no having to wait around.
My physiotherapist, Mari, I find to be very knowledgeable, professional, caring and seems to be personally interested in my situation. I look forward to each appointment knowing Mari will provide the most appropriate treatment in a timely highly professional manner.
I would highly recommend Pillars of Wellness and from my personal experience Mari, for your physiotherapy needs.
I thought this was a great way to learn about Long Covid impacts on different systems of the body. I liked the themes each week. It was well rounded and informative. I would have liked to have seen it be more discussion based and more interactive. The talks were great but maybe more pauses for reflection and questions. Even some group discussion. Thank you so much for this program though!
Amazing staff all around. I have had a wonderful experience with physiotherapy with Mari Mueller, plus everyone I have dealt with a Pillars of Wellness has left me not the least bit hesitant to recommend utilizing their myriad of services. A true multi-disciplinary approach and team of highly qualified service-providers.
Dr. Maggie Dunlop-Juarez is a phenomenal Chiropractor! I have never felt better and so confident in a provider! I have been to other providers who have not been able to adjust me in the areas that were bothering me the most. She has numerous techniques and methods and I am SO happy to have discovered such a kind and effective Chiropractor!
My 6 year old son goes to pillars of wellness for speech therapy. He sees Kelly Wark. She is amazing. He loves her and really enjoys his session. Since he started going we have seen big improvements in his reading and writing. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a speech therapist.
I recently injured my knee, it was so bad I could not walk and it was impacting my ability to walk. Pillars of Wellness are just around the corner from me. After several sessions with a professional there, I was mobile again, and soon after that had no more issues or pain. Every professional I encountered during my visits were professional, courteous and friendly. I highly recommend them. It is great to have them so close to home and in our amazing Aldershot community.
My daughter participated in the Play with Purpose class by Janna Marvyn. What a positive and enjoyable experience. We can?t wait to return and continue with the program.
Janna is a fantastic physiotherapist. She was great with all kids in our class. She provided a challenging yet engaging environment where kids felt comfortable to learn and practice their motor skills. Her professional intervention was customized and unique to each child.
During the 6 weeks program, my daughter At 4M made major leaps in her development from learning to roll over, sitting up unassisted and even starting to prepare for crawling.
Front desk staff are attentive and made us feel welcome.
Very clean and organized. Front desk staff was always helpful and knowledgeable. The physiotherapist I had was Khizar. Nice guy and very smart, although I found that my back problem didn't get much better over time. That's not a discredit to Khizar as he did what he could, but I feel that I could've used someone with a little more sport physio background as I have in the past.
The staff at this place are so friendly, welcoming and accommodating and I would highly recommend coming here. I took part in the Play With Purpose class with my 5 month old and learned so many helpful tips and suggestions on how to help teach him to sit, roll and begin standing. He improved so much over the 6 weeks and Janna is absolutely fantastic with babies and kids.
