This is my 3rd year as a member and I don't think you can compare this club or amenities to anything else in the area.
I have looked at other courses in the area for membership and they can't even compete with the price, amenities, availability, or consistent staff that return every year. There is obviously a reason for that.
I have tried to book tee times in the Lethbridge area and if they are having an event on the day you want to play your pretty much screwed. I have never had a day in the 3 years, not being able to play at Picture Butte, even when there is a huge event happening of with limited time.
The club house pro shop is well organized and is not jammed with product overwhelming you. If they don't have what your looking for they can get it.
The restaurant has more than enough choices and any more would take you longer to decide. The servers are responsive and continually moving.
The course condition is always in above standard for the periods of the year and with 27 holes to choose from, you do not get a feeling of mundane rounds. There is always a different combination you could play. There are three different tee boxes to choose from and they are not just changing yardage, but a different view of the hole completely. It offers top challenges for scratch golfers all the way through to new to the sport.
Lessons and information about the game, course, techniques, are all offered that will definitely allow you enjoy your experience. The knowledgeable Pro's are friendly, courteous, funny, and of course professional.
I don't feel I am raving about Picture Butte because I am a member. I have looked around, and I know there is no other course that even comes close. They treating members and non-members with the respect and service all customers should expect to receive.
Don't think that a different town means a long travel time.
I live on the west side in Lethbridge and it takes me 16 minutes to get to Butte for a round. It takes me longer than that to get to some of the courses in Lethbridge. If your looking for a Club or just to go play. Picture Butte will definitely accommodate you with what you are looking for. Honestly give them a try, you will not regret it.response / report this review -
