Great restaurant - the food is consistently well prepared with the freshest ingredients. The best Eggs Benedict in town, and some pretty good fish tacos. The outside patio/garden, situated with a view of the marina and river, is like eating in the Mediterranean. A word of caution though - it's a small kitchen and at busy times (brunch on weekends) you can wait quite a while. It's worth it, but just beware if you're starving or in a hurry.

Located on Johnston Road in Port Alberni a quaint restaurant kind of reminds me of an upscale Mexican restaurant because of the hot sun we choose to sit inside and enjoy the cool breeze.
We had a Mexican style breakfast and it was great. The servings are big one dish is almost enough for two people.
NOTE free parking in front of the restaurant by the patio.

A really great spot for all day breakfast, among other selections. While there is some focus on Mexican food there are also choices with a Mexican flavour added to a more traditional dish. The Sante Fe Chicken club is a must.
There's plenty of parking for the size of this restaurant, but it is a small restaurant all the same, so seating is limited and seemed to be popular.
Staff are friendly and courteous, always checking if you need more water or coffee, and the coffee is good.
