  Hi my name is Veronica Szamet. I was born with CP. It cannot be cured, or be contagious etc.. Now in my case my balance was effected and still is to this day. It affected my left side as a baby, as I weighed only 3 pounds and 6 ounces. Now there is no way I can be cured at all. It affected my left side of my body. Also it can affect eyesight, hearing, sometimes speech problems and more. I am 63 years young and I am on my own since 1973. I have staff who work for an organization called Pace. Thank goodness for my mind my speech and my hands. I use hearing aids to hear better. And I wear eyeglasses up close and far away also. Thank you for reading this and I live in Toronto, Ontario.

  The amount of good this organization is responsible for makes me proud to be a part of it. 67 years of experience combined with new branding initiatives will propel OFCP to the forefront of modern fundraising and help us one day reach as many people living with cerebral palsy in Ontario as humanly possible.

  After being told I couldn't make decisions for myself because I have cerebral palsy by a senior OFCP staff member who still works for the organization, this was pathetic. Now I am suffering from mental health issues
