Have been going to this resort for approximately 13 years and every time I arrive I'm always greeted with a friendly and accommodating staff, a fresh room and superb restaurant staff. The recreation centre is full of fun activities for children including a pool with a water slide and a mini golf course along with an arcade. For the parents there's a gym and a spa along with an upscale bar for evening drinks. Weddings are common so be prepared for lots of foot traffic in the evenings as the majority of the receptions are around 7. All in all amazing place to take a short golf vacation or to just get away from the city and relax.

26, August, 2017 reception for Brittany and Andrew.good service was top notch food was not the best, chicken was okay, steak was all cooked different..I had medium rare and my wife had well done, however we had no input on how we wanted it cooked. No tea was served at the reception only coffee. Beds are too soft for me and the noise in the halls was too loud to sleep anyway. At breakfast Sunday morning we found that we were charged extra for a meal on Saturday which we objected to because we didn't go to restaurant on Saturday. I did not appreciate the attitude of the management or how they approached my wife in front of the table. I had to leave my breakfast to resolve this issue with the management, so I was not able to eatbut was charged full price anyway. During the night I called the front desk twice, however nobody answered the phone or called me back. When I reported this at Custom Service Sunday, the management said I should have tried harder to reach security.

Attended a wedding. The venue was not bad, but not great. Clean and beautiful. Sadly the gym opens at 9 on Sunday, (no early morning swims). The beef was tasty, but cold and overcooked. The staff were friendly, but I still got lost trying to find the reception halls. The neighbouring wedding music was annoyingly noisy through the wall. The cash bar was absurdly overpriced. I ordered a scotch for $6.75 and received a teaspoon of liquor poured over a cup full of ice. The cashier didn't know how to subtract $13 from $20. She needed her calculator and I had to teach her how math works. The wedding hall was kept uncomfortably hot. It was a nice wedding at a lovely yet frustrating resort. Breakfast was also cold and overpriced.

Beautiful accommodations. The staff sent a complementary bottle of wine to our room because tonight is our 10th anniversary. The view is breath taking. Highly recommended

Nice resort but thin doors. Was able to hear some rowdy neighbors while trying to sleep on the first night.

I have rented meeting rooms and overnight stays here.

    The good:

Food. Buffet breakfasts, lunches, and dinners were always spot on. Numerous salad options, entrees, and desserts. Tasty every time and friendly service. Great view from the dining area overlooking the golf course. Note: the vegans among us did have a more difficult time finding appropriate options; most of the salads had some form of dairy in the sauce (or cheese).

The golf course was very enjoyable. We flew through quickly, so my memory is not very clear, but as a golfer I would enjoy playing again, especially as part of my stay at the resort. The have club rentals.

The common areas and dining room have been recently updated and look and feel trendy and cozy.

    The OK:

Meeting rooms. I would certainly go back, but if there is one particular deficiency, it is the meeting rooms. The decor in the rooms (at least those I have used) is fairly dated. Some rooms do not have a phone, making a call to the front desk tricky. We had to request on a couple occasions that a staff member visit our room to adjust the thermostat. Still, the rooms met our needs and were not terrible by any means.

    I would go back.

The conference held in the sports dome had a very nice atmosphere with great staff assisting/catering the event. The room was spacious and comfortable. Great setting for such an event.

Hotel is great, pool was wonderful for the kids, may want to invest in a kitchen staff for the river view restaurant. Line times ran about 2 hours. Expected a manager to come by and calm all the tables, instead of letting the poor front of house girls take all the heat.

That being said, highly recommend the hotel as long as you go else where to eat.

I would have given a higher rating if i ate else were.

I come here annually for a conference and stay overnight for a couple of days. From the simple and clean accommodations to the amazing food (and chocolate milk machine), I am always pleased with my stay. By all means this isn't a luxurious resort and conference centre, but they know how to handle large groups of people and treat them with care.
