We had Nancy and her team do our wedding this summer and we are so glad we decided to go with NJS Designs. We found them extremely organized and responsive to emails and changes in our order. Their setup team made our hall look amazing and all of the staff were very wonderful to work with! We had a great experience with NJS and would definitely recommend them to others!

We rented from Nancy for our wedding this past August, and unfortunately, was disappointed with her customer service. In the beginning, she was pleasant to deal with and I am sure at one time, she did have better customer service. I think that considering she has a monopoly on the rental business in the area, she has expanded quickly and lost her personal touch in the process. I did not feel like a valued customer, but rather another rental contract, and $$. My business did not feel valued, because she knows there is another bride around the corner. I really had to advocate for what I wanted, and she never took the time to to go over her inventory and what she had available to make my vision come to life. When I did place the rental order, it was done quickly over the phone because she was worried the rentals wouldn't be available because she is so busy. As I tried to add items onto my rental, they were not available because she is so busy. We were the first wedding at a new venue, so planning changed continuously up until the day before, but no changes are accepted after 3 weeks before the wedding, so we ended up paying for items we didn't even use. Some cutlery had gone missing, and even though we had paid a non-refundable damage waiver, it doesn't cover missing items — only damaged items. And even if nothing is damaged, you still don't get it back. As I said, it really feels like it is more about the $$ than making your wedding feel important — it was clear this business is just all about the $$. Alas, Nancy did refund the damage waiver. I would recommend Burke's Rentals if you want excellent customer service and to actually feel like your rental company cares about your wedding.
