    Lots of calming and homeostasis reg. points for @weavaweav ☺❤ So much healing for this girl😘🙏

    She was feeling a bit under the weather and sore overall. Just not at her best. So, we did our usual massage treatment and finished off strong with some acupuncture session.📌📌📌✨

    Beat the grey weather👊💥💦. Get some healing on and don't let it get to ya!😘✨

    Pain? Ain't nobody got time for that😏!

    30 mins break in between appointments means selfcare time for this girl 🙆🙋

    Went for a swim🏊 on my lunch break, picked up more speed than I normally do, and although I only did my usual distance, my forearm extensor tendinosis started acting up😭. I still got more clients to take care of😱! So, What do I do😕?

    Medical acupuncture to the rescue 💁❤😎👍 !

    I need to be 100% with my clients or as close as I can be. So a half hour break meant self-needling for me today. 📌📌📌😍

    Not only did it alleviate the tension and flare up, even after another appointment I had post-needling, it did not aggravate and I even feel better! Power of evidence-based practice right there👍😁✨

    "Rome was not built in a day🏰🌟"

    Anything good is never accomplished overnight🙅😒 Making any significant changes takes patience and consistency in the effort of doing so😐👍😏.

    Same thing can be said for your health⛳🏈🏉🚴✌ If it took you 3 months to develop the symptoms you are experiencing (e.g. back aches, the knots in the shoulders , headaches, general soreness, low energy etc), it isn't going to fix over one stretch you do or one treatment you come in for🙈💩. You need to be consistent with your treatment as well as your "homework" (Homecare exercises? sleeps? Eating habits? Specific Activity or lack of?) It is only 1 hour that I see you on my treatment table, and depending on how often you come in, the rest of the day, the week and the month is all up to you. 🙏

    And Most importantly, it is a journey and you need to enjoy the process of it 😁🌟 Get to know your body and find out what works for you and what doesn't🏊🏄🏂🚵!

    Good health is based on good habits and routine, and being healthy is a life style that doesn't come in one day. Be patient. Nourish and take a good care of your body💆🙇. You will appreciate this when you look back a month, a year or 5 years from now😉!

    It all starts from that first step you take. 👣👣👣 and let me help you with that 💆✌ Let me help you help ya self!👊✨

    I am back 😎👊;

    This trip was just perfect. I bonded with my friends that live afar, discussed our common life problems and got some different perspectives, explored not just one, but two of the most diverse, beatiful and historical cities in the world! Here are some fun facts I learned while in London and Berlin;

    1) Cobble stoned roads are so pretty to look at, but really not great for biking (My butt was numb by the end of the day biking in Berlin)

    2) Eastern Berliners age around mine or above, apparently often speak better Russsian than English due to its educational system affected by its history back in the day when it was still devided into East and West, and also even some time after (When you think about it, it totally makes sense but just didn't occure to me until my German friend pointed out)

    3) River Thames is VERY dirty. The water is super brown and you can't see a thing what's beneath the water. BUT even then, London was one of the most chaotic, yet beautiful cities I've seen so far. I enjoyed walking along the river watching all the amazing architectures for so many hours during my stay, and it never bored me. Every corner of the city was just so beautiful!

    4) Harrods put Holt to shame. BIG TIME.

    5) British call pants, trousers I had to repeatedly remind myself of it in conversations.

    6) The Son of the author of the famous book, "Winnie the pooh", secretly (or not so secretly) spites his father for being capitalized on his father's fame that seemed to be never ending (He opened a book store of his own eventually, but of course, all the customers came to seek for his autograph and talk about his father's book😅), and also for taking advantage of his childhood memory for his own fame (The story was based on his chlidhood story and his teddy bear 🐻)..

    7) I got the 6) fact from my amazing punting (boat tour) guide in Cambridge river. He went to school in Cambridge and wants to become a history professor of some sort. so he obviously was quite intelligent man, but he did quote breech birth as "Corck birth" during his tour, because he simply coudln't remember what it was called. 😂😂😂 (And no it wasn't a thing in British English, either)

    8) Queens used to eat swan and is the only person who has prevelidge to do so but .swan!? 😭

    I could list so much more though, I shouldn't spend all day in front of a computer. On the side note, I am now accepting all the appointments till the end of the year! Make sure to get in touch with me to coordinate your appointments- your insurance renews very soon and don't risk the dissapointment of not being able to book in by waiting till the last min 😎🤣.

    P.S. here is a dose of beautiful for you all. Taken in Cambridge, UK, during the punting tour.

    Why Acupuncture? 📌📌📌

    Medical acupuncture is a very effective way to treat musculoskeletal problems. How does it work❓ There are two major events that go on once the needles are inserted;

    1) It creats micro-trauma to the tissue, increasing the blood flow to the site instantly, and immediately starting/fascilitating healing process, bringing more oxygen, nutrients and new cells that are needed to repair the site. 2) In our body, the pain killer agents, opioids are created to deal with pain information that your body percieves. Normally, our body cannot create enough of those to suppress pain from major trauma, hence the use of drugs to help dealing with the pain. When acupuncture needles are inserted, those natural occuring opioids are activated- instant decrease in the pain, and sent to the dorsum part of your spine where it processes pain information- more decrease in pain.

    Further more, the whole neurological process encourages parasympathetic nervous system- rest and digest. Your body inevitably heals faster when it is in that state, rather than sympathetic state- fight and flight.

    See the photo I took of a needling on a patient. It is to treat a knee pain, as well as hypertonicity and trigger points in the quads muscles. The lower two needles, inserted in angles above the knee, are aimed for a very small muscle called Articularis Genu. It is a small, triangular muscle that is attached to the base of your femur, right below the common quads tendon. A lot of knee pain could come from this tiny little muscle- or at least by treating it, I can help alleviate the knee pain. Due to its location (Underneath the thick tendon of quads), it is hard to treat with hands, and when we do it, we create quite a disruption to the other surrounding tissues and it can be uncomfortable for the paitent, not to mention how inefficient it is to work on it while the paitents are probably getting all tensed up from the discomfort. With the fine, small acupuncture needles that are .25mm in diameter, it can get right to the targeted tissues. Takes the pain away and start up the healing process faster✨ So why acupuncture, you ask? I say why the hell not😉😉😉

    A patient of mine brought me this🌱. In Chinese, it is 万年青 (possibly in Japanese too?). She wished me "ten thousand years of goodness🙌", as its name stands in Chinese.

    She is from mainland China🇨🇳, barely speaks English but raised her two children in Canada by owning a little resto in the city, lost her husband along the way and now a grandma of 4. She calls herself my "god-grandmother in Canada".😂💕

    Needless to say that she made my day with this green baby Or an entire week☺❤

    Oh am I ever so grateful to be a part of someone's well-being, and then also be fortunate enough to receive the same care, but just in a different form❤✨🙏.

    Pay it forward. One day, It will be such a bliss if I can do this for someone and make their day better in such a genuine way like this old sweet lady did✨( though, mind you, she can be super mighty and fearce although she is just a half the size of me. She often yells at me that I don't eat enough😂 typical grandma love 💘)

    I would like to say that Mugiho is without a doubt the best RMT I have ever went to see!!! That said I have come across quite a few RMT's in the 10+ years that I have been receiving Massage and Chiropractic treatment. None of the previous RMT's have come even remotely close to comparing. Mugiho uses multiple techniques that will have you feeling amazing. Mughio is extremely knowledgeable just tell her where you are hurt and she will fix you right up. I can remember being able to barely walk into an appointment and after one hour I was practically dancing my way back to my car. I would recommend Mugiho to absolutely anyone. I would describe Mugiho in a single word (Phenomenal).

    Thank You Mugiho :)

    Mugiho is one of the best RMT's I've had. She is very knowledgeable uses a variety of techniques and just the right amount of pressure to get the job done. One time I had injured my bicep through lifting weights in the gym. I'm stubborn so I refused to stop lifting. She fixed me up so I could keep going. I healed up faster and stronger than ever. Thanks Mugi. You're the best.

    I saw Mughio a couple weeks ago for a general massage therapy treatment with a focus on low back, leg and hip work. She had excellent pressure and used a variety of techniques which made an immediate difference in how I felt. I will be booking another appointment with Mughio to keep on top of my long standing issues.
