Needed emergency roof repair before a storm after other roofers wouldn’t get back to me or take on the job. Went to Metro and spoke with Tony and he showed up in under an hour of receiving my call. Upon arrival, they got straight to work, did a thorough inspection and repaired what needed to be. Definitely impressed with the quality of service from Tony and Metro!

Some shingles had raised up on my roof. Metro was responsive and informative of all the quotes requested. Tony fixed the damages we discussed and several other areas at no additional cost. I would highly recommend them to friends and family

I needed someone to repair a flat roof on my upstairs add on bathroom.I researched online and found Metro with a hundred good reviews.I called and spoke with Tony who said he would be out the next day to have a look.He came as promised and looked things over and we agreed on a price.Once the weather.cleared up he and his main guy came over and went to work.The house is old and always a pain to work on but they got it done in good time. They did an awesome job ,and I know I won't have to worry about it for a long time,probably never.In future I wouldn't consider anyone elseA really nice guy to boot. Thanks Tony. Much appreciated.

After a severe storm where parts of our roof and chimney were damaged. Tony responded quickly and did an amazing job in repairing. Very reasonably priced. We got our roof guy! Recommending to everyone in Durham.

Metro Roofing started the work a week after Tony provided an on site quote.Tony's crew did an excellent job of roof shingle replacement. They provided updates on the state of the roof as they were working. This was really appreciated. The yard was completely cleaned up of nails and bits of old shingles. There was a minor cosmetic problem with flashing and Tony repaired it. The flashing now looks better than the original. I would recommend Metro Roofing without hesitation. Tony was very easy to work with.

Tony replaced our flat roof 17 years ago and it was still in very good condition but a chimney problem created a leak in one area. We decided that after 17 problem-free years, it was time to replace the entire roof and all the metal work too. We wouldn't trust this job to anyone but Tony. He explained with a very detailed quote what he would do and consulted with us to find the exact colour of metal work that we wanted. He kept us informed during the entire process and took extra care to also fix the chimney problem. Everyone on his crew was polite and friendly, came when they said they would, took great care with their work and cleaned up all the debris. Tony is very knowledgeable and reliable and does excellent work. We wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone with a roofing problem.

A few weeks ago we lost a section of shingles due to high winds that occurred at night. The next day we tried to get contractors in to look at the roof, to give us quotes and tell us when they could fix the issue. At night it rained a lot and some of the rain started to leak in. We called several 24 hrs numbers listed emergency services. Only Tony answered the call and gave us suggestions on what we could do till the morning. In morning he followed up with us to see if we needed any further assistance. We asked him for a quote and since he was the first one to say that he could come that day, we decided to go with him. He was accommodating by getting the matching shingle colours for our roof and coming in to patch the damaged portion of the roof before the rain started again that same day. This gave us piece of mind and we appreciated the quick action Tony provided, plus some of the assessment he made on what might have caused the issues and the condition of the roof. Recently, we had more high winds hit us and we noticed a few shingles had popped up. We contacted Tony on the Saturday. He came by Monday to patch them as best as he could. We had rain and high winds later that week and had no further issues. We appreciate Tony's quick hassle free responses and quickly getting things done for us.

Recently Metro redid my roof which was done only 2 years ago by another company and leaked. Tony pointed out several flaws with the previous roof and suggested a course of action. I find that he is very accomodating and responsive to concerns. The work was done quickly and satisfactory. I would recommend him and his company.

Wish we had never called them. Charged $6,400 plus tax to throw on a load of ISO covering onto a fairly good old flat roof because we had a leak and suspected it was just old. This made the leak far worse so they did some patching around the area but the real cause was that they installed completely wrong flashing around the perimiter which I have since modified. This basically trapped in all the rainwater causing a lake that seeped thru making the leak worse. Every roofer that has been up to look at it is pretty shocked and can not believe how much it cost and how recent this was done. In the future I will have no worries about ripping it all off and throwing it away and starting all over again to do it properly it proves all over again that you have to have some understanding of construction before calling anyone in to do anything, or better still try to do it yourself if you can.

Non punctual. Needs to be supervised for quality. Very reluctant to fix. Other than that is 5 out of 10 scale. Search for better contractor if quality concerned. If you need a pictures of problems, email me.
