  Set up appointment through head office to open a chequing account in Aurora. When attended the manager stated they received no emails. Did not have a clue what to do. Then send me away saying can not open an account. When called back they changed their tune and said open savings account and pay lots of banking fees. Well if I wanted to pay banking fees why come to Meridian? The aim is to stay away from Banksters! and support the local financial institutions and not global banking systems! GET your act together, Meridian!!

  LOVE the Meridian and staff. They are there to help and treat me like a true member of the Meridian family. I'm not a means of gaining a $6.00 banking fee here and a $15.00 fee there every month. They don't do that. My last bank shaved $60.00 in small fees every month including charging me for more than 3 withdrawals a month of my own money! I can call the Meridian and get personalized service every time! 💚
