If it were up to us, we’d serve Caprese salad all year round, but there’s a reason why we don’t – Because we believe in the market. Seasonal produce, local and artisanal cheeses, salumi and breads, our approach has always been to go with the seasons, never against them.

We are very excited to have Anna on board + join the team as well as the Mercatto family.
Anna has been in the industry for 12 years, starting at Susur Lee's, Lee restaurant working as Garde Manger as well as on pastry for one year, then went onto working at Scaramouche Restaurant working her way through all the stations. She then opened FIGO as Executive Chef and has now settled in at LOCALE.

LOCALE's doors have been open for four weeks now, welcoming guests to try the newest addition to the mercatto family.
LOCALE mercatto is a modern take on the 'local' place of habit. Rosticceria, braceria, paste + piccolo piatti are key elements in the new menu designed and produced by Executive Chef Doug Neigel. So are the 35 wines offered by the half and full bottle, ten house curated cocktails and an extravagant beer list.
