Food came out fast which tells me it was probably not fresh. The Moussaka was dry and cold. Grape leaves and spanakopita were delicious and service was good
Went there for Greek food. The plate was so bad and overpriced. Had the lamb platter. An old potatoe cut in half, a bowl size of blend white rice and tzaziki plus the lamb skewer. No vegetables except for the small salad that came with the overpriced $26 platter.
One of my favorite places to eat on 17th Ave. Love the lasagna and fries especially during lunch specials. Great food at amazing prices with quality service.
Manies is one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in a very long time. The food is delicious, service is phenomenal, and the portions are huge! I recommend the Arni Psito. I'll definitely be back there again!
The calzone was probably one of the best I have ever eaten. Their Greek salad was delicious and we also enjoyed the fresh cooked pitas that were served with the hummus appetizer. Personally, we prefer thin crust pizza so the deep dish pizza that was presented to us was not to our liking, but to someone who enjoys a thick pizza, they would probably love it. Every ingredient used was fresh. We also recommend the Greek beer. The service was very friendly.
The food was ok. I was one of the only customers in the resteraunt and the service was still horrible
Great gyros ,courteous staff but pasta had a lot of frozen veg. Good portion though
Ordered at 2:30 and they said it would be 30-45 mins. Showed up at 4:05 and it was 50$ for two individual pizzas. It says free delivery for anyone 5km away and we live 4km away but still got charged fully for delivery. Do not recommend for anyone.
Great veggie pizza, a little pricey overall but way better than chains
I've been here twice, and I really enjoy their pizzas. I like that they let you choose between a thick and thin base and there are a lot of options, as well as a build-your-own pizza option.
That being said, the service there the second time I visited was absolutely awful. The server could barely understand anything I said and was the most unenthusiastic person I've seen in all my life. They didn't smile at all and seemed skeptical of me. It was like they assumed I wouldn't tip or something. At one point, I asked them if they had some garlic I could put on my pizza, and the server told me, after mumbling and generally seeming confused, that the restaurant did not have garlic. Not that they didn't have that as an option to put on like the chilli flakes or parmesan, but that they simply had no garlic. That cannot be true, as garlic is an option on a few of their main.
I might come back again, but hopefully I never get that server another time.
