This place is a dive! The owners don't care about this place and I guarantee that they are only using it as an investment property to be sold one day and torn down. Where do I start?
The bathroom, the shower curtain is so dirty that you can actually see the snot rockets people blow. Dirty hand stains on the lead blanket style curtain and what ever DNA people have left behind! Paint peeling in the bathroom and you have to hold the toilet seat up while you take a leak.
Sleeping quarters, loud air vent/fan that you have to sleep with it off so that you wake up during the night freezing. Not only that, if you did leave it on if the people smoking in any room that shares the vent, in your room it comes. I thought it was illegal to allow smoking in hotels!?
Then the bed, comforter has burn holes all over it, stains on the sheets and pillows. Blood I think.
The fridge leaks, the chairs are stained, and everything in the room is out dated.
The desk is most likely made by hand and in North America!!! That's cool!!
And this room is one of the best ones. I was in a couple more to hang out with friends and they are dumps. Mold in the showers, Cracked shower doors, dirty and stained floors, just no F's given.
And then there's the restaurant. I see some favourable reviews but on this day, slow service throughout the entire restaurant, only one server on for the entire restaurant, facial hair in my food, sent back to have the same food brought back to me. Who th F does that!? Lazy people. The server was a champ though!!!
If I could, I would give no stars and would never wish this place on my worse enemy.

I think the only reason this place has any more than a 1 star rating is because people are dumb and post their rating of the restaurant which isn't even attached to the motel. This place is a complete dive. There are burn holes in every single sheet and blanket, burn holes in the floor, mildew in the shower, cracks in the walls, the shower doors, honestly not sure if there isn't one surface in the place without a burn hole in it. It smells like smoke and not cigarette or weed smoke. If I could give 0 stars I would. If I was forced to stay here by work I wouldn't have stay one night. I slept fully clothed and hood up so nothing touched the bedding, still worried about bed bugs or possibly catching something. I hovered in the washroom and looked for a gym to go to to take my showers. Possibly one of the worst places I've ever stayed including road tripping and as a teenager. Oh and I'm fairly certain there is black mold on the washroom.

The ambience us relaxed and friendly. The coffee was perfect and the waitress brought more as requested. Our meals were good. One thing. I asked for natchos like the gal beside me. Clearly loaded. I got a less than delicious serving. I will go again . But be more assertive about the meal directions.

Recent exterior renos have improved the facade of this place. Features an on site restaurant popular with locals for coffee. Rooms often come with just a shower :-/

Great place. Clean well equipped rooms
and great restaurant. Perfectly cooked bacon and eggs breakfast with no skimping on the butter on my toast. Bacon not overcooked like many places.
My double bed room had two gueen sized beds or bigger.
A desk and chair, a modern large tv on a nice wood furniture stand as well as the nice wood desk.
Close and good wood hangers for your clothes. Spacious and super clean bathroom.
Plus free WiFi.
And lastly a polite and helpful staff at the front desk.
My review is I have absolutely no complaints in the slightest of any aspect of my stay here at the Lodge Motor Inn in Dawson Creek.

Visitng Dawson creek from PG for a wedding, the food was fantastic and so fairly priced. Had a great time until I was paying for my breakfast and the server asked if I was pregnant.. I am definitely not pregnant, just really full I said!
