Every year I meet up with the Woodhouse family to update their family photos in a bit of an unconventional way! They dress up like different groups of fictional characters each year - our first was the Adam's Family, last year's theme was Alice in Wonderland.
This year's theme was Star Wars!

We got married on September 23rd,2017!

Mara photogaphed my best friends wedding the year before and I was sold that she would be our photographer from meeting her then! And we weren't even engaged then! haha. She is so easy to work with, the most amazing personality! She makes you feel so comfortable; as the two of us had never been photographed before. She values your opinion and the visions you have for your photos. Her creativity is impeccable and she goes above and beyond to take the most incredible photos for you!! (Ie, lying down in dirt on her stomach in 40 degree weather to capture a moment for us)!.

I would highly recommend Mara to anyone if they need photos for any type of occasion! I cannot wait when the times comes, when I am pregnant and we have Mara capture our maternity photos for us! My husband and I love Mara, and cannot say enough good things about her work and dedication to her craft!

We cannot WAIT to see the rest of the photos she captured on our special day!

I would recommend Mara to anyone and everyone. She is a fantastic and easy going lady who can capture you in any picture. She does great work and she was worth every penny. My wife and I absolutely love Mara, she was able to get us in the most romantic photos.

She goes way above and beyond. If you need photos done, she is the lady to go to. If we decide we want to do another photo shoot we will be call her back for sure.

Mara, Tracey and I can not thank you enough for everything you did to capture us and our family together. You really made it easy for us to be relaxed and stressfree on our special day.

Absolutely in love with every single shot from our May 13th wedding! Mara was so easy going and delightful to work with. Even though the weather was rainy and dreary, she was so upbeat and positive! She is down to earth and professional - a perfect combination, and I honestly could not have picked a better photographer to capture our special day. Each photo truly depicted our love for each other and had the perfect combination of candid and formal shots - not to mention the photos are top quality! Vibrant and flawless! Mara is absolutely amazing.

Mara did our family shoot last month and we are in love with the photos we just got back! Immediately we clicked, hard not to with Mara's outgoing personality. She had all the photos mentally prepared and was quick to tell us if there was a hair, or hand out of place :)

Amazing work. Shawn met with her prior to proposing and she was there to capture that moment for us, we have beautiful, breath-taking photos from that day that I will cherish forever. I also did a boudoir photoshoot with her in February and her eye for detail and the way she made me feel so confident and comfortable was amazing. Naturally we couldn't picture anybody else for our big day. She will be doing our engagement photos and capturing our wedding day and we couldn't be more excited!

From the moment Jordan and I sat down with Mara for coffee months ago we knew she would be the perfect person to capture the feel and excitement of our special day.

She was open to any and all ideas as well as locations that we may or may not have been allowed to shoot at (including the train tracks which were a bit of a drive away.)

She was super fun to work with (when she wanted us to know she was there) otherwise she was basically a fly on the wall capturing all the candid moments throughout the night that we didnt know were being shot.

She was professional, creative and hilarious and we will be recommending her to everyone we know that may be getting married in the future!

MY FAVOURITE PHOTOGRAPHER! she's so sweet and so bubbly! you can tell she loves what she does, when you work with her she makes you feel like "This is your day to shine" she captures these special moments in wonderful ways & doesn't make you feel like "just another client" , she always puts your ideas into consideration and they turn out 100xs better than originally planned, her prices are very reasonable and the edits are amazing. I definitely recommend her for all the special days you want perfectly photographed you're doing great Mara ! I can't wait for our next little photoshoot !☺️

Mara did my Equine photos just last week with my special horse Thyme. It was a special moment for me. I think she captured it very well. I don't have the photos back yet but from the few I have seen She takes amazing photos! And I thought we didn't have much set to work with, right Mara!? I was wrong! Absolutely Beautiful! So far. I'm Very impressed. And have passed along her name to a few people so far :).

I recently had a boudoir session with photography by Mara and hair and makeup with Paisley. These ladies were so professional and made my upcoming 50th birthday gift to me extra special. They both made me feel comfortable and it was an amazing few hours! Mara sent me a few of my photos tonight and they wowed me!!! Am so excited to see the rest. !

I have nothing but good things to say about Life Through Exposure photography. Mara is an extremely professional, fun loving, and patient photographer. She is fantastic at posing/assisting with posing, and makes the entire process a fun and laid back experience. She is very efficient, and works hard to ensure your photos are available for preview asap. I would definitely use Mara's services again, as well as recommend her to others :)

Mara first of all was so kind and second of all has amazing talent! My boyfriend and I, plus our two very crazy pups had a mini session today and it couldn't have been more enjoyable. We will be calling Mara for all of our photo needs in the future! Can't wait to see the photos!
