Dr. Wolanski is like Michaelangelo. I haven't smiled in five years, and in one appointment he made all my front teeth look pretty again. We came up with a plan of what I wanted and what I needed, and like an artist he knew exactly what he needed to do to achieve my smile goals. Going to the dentist is not scary when you have a dentist like Dr. Wolanski and the fabulous team at Lakeside Dental. I can't stop smiling now! Thank you Dr. W!

Very friendly staff who are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you leave happy and excited to smile. I've suffered from a discoloured front tooth since I was a child an was able to get a crown. The crown is a perfect colour match and fit. For the first time in 20 years, I'm not embarrassed to smile. To all the staff, thank you!

I've been terrified of the dentist my whole life. I knew there were big problems brewing in my mouth but I just couldn't make myself book an appointment. But then severe pain began from needing multiple root canals and I didn't know what to do. Then I found out about sedation dentistry. The staff at Lakeside are extremely non-judgemental, as I feared getting lectured and judging looks for letting my teeth get so bad. Instead, they were all so supportive! I took a deep breath and booked a root canal appointment. And let me tell you sedation worked like a charm! The sedation drugs had me only remember good things - no pain registered in my brain at all! I remember being happy and relaxed, like I was on a beach vacation. Seriously. I know it sounds crazy, but it's true! Sedation dentistry saved my teeth and I can't wait for my next root canal appointment! Thanks Lakeside!!!

I hadnt been to a dentist in a few years. I made an appt with them and they did a full new patient exam. I learned that I should have my wisdom teeth removed - not the 1st time I had heard this. My top wisdom teeth were already through and causing zero issues so I asked if it would be medically okay to keep them - they did an exam and said yes. We set up an appt for the surgery. I was quite nervous / anxious and everyone helped me get through that by being positive and reassuring and friendly. The appt took about an hour and I was home healing up right away. I would recommened Lakeside Dental to anyone! Tbey are an innovative, friendly, confident and knowledgable group.

I had extreme pain in my mouth for days to the point where I looked for a place that does emergency dental work. The first place I called was booked up and the dentists weren't coming back for a while due to their vacations. I tried lakeside clinic, and they got me in to see what's wrong just an hour or so after I phoned. Very helpful and accommodating and figured out the problem within minutes. They tried their best to keep me comfortable and pain free, and it was no problem for them to change my necessary surgery to a less expensive option when I asked for it. I'm so thankful and glad I found them when I did. Thank you.

A dentist here (Dr. Cara) completely destroyed my mouth. I went in for one simple filling, and he ended up causing me to have a root canal, need a crown, and he messed up my other crown with the careless use of the hardware for a dental dam, dislodging it and causing my gums to become infected. I now have to get the endodontist to remove the crown and also I have to now have an implant installed. This dentist cost me thousands of dollars.

I was hugely impressed by Dr. Wolanski's vast leading edge knowledge of dental health and his common sense approach. He is very likely the most qualified Dentist on Vancouver Island, if not B.C. I would highly recommend him.. Thanks so much.. John English, Cobble Hill, B.C..
