Was nice place to 🏕 other than noise levels at night and early morning? 😠. Need to upgrade the washrooms by the lake. 🤢 probably won't go back!

I figure if I give a place the 5th star it means I'd visit it again to be in a different location. So Lake Whittaker is the sister park to Dalewood which we'll be doing in September. Whittaker is a good place. There's actually seasonals here. Lots of high end travel trailers to look at.

    - easy pull in entrance which is at a dead end street
    - wide hard gravel roads
    - no branches to scratch rig
    - one shot back in site #126 which is over 70 feet
    - hard grass with a slight slop away from road
    - clean flowing power according to my P.I. surge protector
    - no black outs
    - water at 40psi
    - one fire ring
    - one picnic table
    - 4/5 pull up dump station
    - gulf carts allowed
    - onsite pool
    - descent lake
    - long hiking trails
    - 4 camping zones
    - above average house flys
    - below average mosquitos
    - above average star gazing with naked eye satellite spottings
    - lots of kids
    - 2 beaches on lake
    - NO harassing patrolling staff
    - fire wood $10
    - boat launch ramp
    - fishing allowed

All downhill lots. Any rain and your lot is a soggy mess.

Awesome camping grounds. Family oriented, with crafts, games, movie nights and much more. Nice clean spring feed lake, also a pool, playground, volleyball and basketball court. We go back every year.

A family campground with many seasonal and overnighters. Sites are large and open. We were close to the pool which is convenient. The lake was covered in algae and appeared unsuitable for swimming or fishing. Conveniently located off the 401, a nice place to stay.

Good facilities. We got a campsite nicely nestled against the woods, very cozy. Good pool with lifeguard. But the campsites are too close together, and too many campers bring dogs that bark all through the night.
