I used Kerkhoff Excavating on a new home project in Langley. All I can say is Herman is a straight shooter. The way I see it is company's are built on trust and integrity and Herman possesses both. Not only are his prices reasonable, but he is more than willing to go above and beyond. He is very resourceful and knows his way around the machine.

Since 2015 Kerkhoff Excavating has been doing a lot of excavating work for us and our neighbors at Rose Garden Estates. They also installed our septic systems. Herman is very accommodating.and has been there for us with his professionalism, good service and vey competitive price.
I would recommend Herman with no hesitation.

From our initial meeting with Herman we were impressed with his willingness to please and go the extra mile! Our meeting came as a result of getting a quote for a septic system before purchasing our property. During that consultation he went above and beyond and ended up shooting the grade for us and advising us on other building matters unrelated to his septic business which we admired! It feels as though you have someone in your corner looking out for your interests which is priceless! We ended up having him clear the lot and he came within budget as promised in a professional and timely manner as expected based on how he presented himself and Kerkhoff Excavating! When dealing with Herman, you really get a sense that he cares about you personally and your project. He truly treats the job as if it is his own piece of property! A business relationship like ours I feel is rare but I think it is the same for him and his other clients. We call Herman a friend and as a friend and being a client we always look for opportunities to refer Kerkhoff Excavating! We look forward to working on more projects together very soon!!

Don't trust this man. He does not keep his word, strings people along, does not turn up when he said his is coming. Does not return phone calls does not honour quotes. Don't do business with him. Run in the other direction. Bad news.

I have used Kerkhoff for two excavation jobs at my home now. I love that Kerkhoff gives me a price up front (that they stick to), and that they don't subcontract to others (they brought aggregate in their own trucks, and took all the waste away themselves). Most of all though, I love how they can handle more than just excavating, if that's what the job calls for. They just get the job done. They stick to what they commit to and finish their job in given time.Should I have to dig up either the back or front yard again I'll definitely give Kerkhoff a call.
