The spirit of community is strong around here! Each year, the wonderful neighbours on our street decorate our fence for a special holiday collaboration. You can take an ornament, leave an ornament, and add to the community installation. If you would like to participate, stop by 120 Maryland, the Community Christmas Fence is located on the Purcell Ave. side of the building. #WolesleyWins #CommunitySpirit

Around the world people are celebrating International Day of Persons with Disabilities. I am honoured to be in Ottawa with people from across Canada working on the initiatives that will give people with disabilities equal opportunity to participate fully in our great country. Thoughts are back in Manitoba and the celebrations that will take place at the Human Rights Museum.

We’re wishing Rod all the best in the next chapter of his life! While he has moved on to greater opportunities in another province, we are so thankful for his contribution to Inclusion and the community living movement here in Winnipeg. Rod’s name has been synonymous with advocacy and caring and he has left some big shoes to fill. We wish you every happiness in your next adventure Rod!!
