Old and run down
Everything was kind of dirty and ugly. They didn't heat the corridors so we were cold all the time.
This was a nice surprise, especially considering its very reasonable prices. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff were nice people. It is very close to a lake, as well as the "forks" a la Winnipeg's the Forks, where two rivers meet. There are many restaurants near it. I suggest eating at Bla Bla, which is at the corner of Wellington and King.
To be honest!
I think this hotel is quite ok for the price that you pay. Yes, the rooms or hall might be a little old, but you cannot complain when you are paying half of what a motel will charge. The bathroom was clean ! If you are willing to spend more money, then, this might not the place for you!
For the price, it was ok. Maybe a 6.5/10.
It was downtown and had free/easy parking. I was only in the room to sleep, so I really didn't concern myself with other details- it was clean and I slept like a baby. You could stay in a way more expensive hotel and have the same service. I had no problems with the front desk- they were professional.
