This place is like a second home, Hotyoga and Spin and COMBO classes!!! It's one of the few locations in NW Calgary with a consistent schedule. Friendly staff, quality classes, good prices, and make sure to arrive early and the instructors will help se you up on the bike and explain the spin technique. **IMPORTANT IF YOU HAVE NEVER SPUN*** They also offer a free yoga and spin class every weekend Lululemon Sweat Collective

HotShop is one of the friendliest and welcoming studios I’ve ever practiced at. The classes are challenging but you are always encouraged to take things at your own pace. Amazing staff and instructors!

Since beginning my Spin Journey, i have found that HotShop has been the most amazing experience for me. The energy from the instructors and the vibe is just so awesome. I recommend going here for sure. If you are looking for hot yoga classes, spin classes, or the combo classes, they have you covered. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, well the instructors are very good, and allow you to have a fun and safe experience. Starting out as a Newbie, they really take good care of new clients and new people to either spin or yoga. I love this place and the HotShop community.

My yoga practice grew exponentially with the help and guidance of the amazing teachers at this studio! Love the spin and yoga combos, love the intensity and high energy of the spin and being able to have a proper stretch in the hot room after is the best! Love the HotShop community!

Good place, been going here and NW one for a while now but full disclosure: I haven't tried any other spin places. Main concerns are with the volume, but that is a problem with all spin places, I'm sure. Still, that's no excuse, and I want to urge everyone to please google hearing loss and spin classes because I swear to you, if you sit on the bike closest to the speaker, for 45 minutes without ear plugs, you WILL damage your hearing. Hearing damage is permanent, it doesn't get better if you stop spin. I know they have earplugs at the front and they will mention that they are there, but never mention WHY you should use them
Other than that, good place but you have to go at a busy time with a popular teacher or else it may be just you and 3 other people and it's lower energy, maybe awkward and I just don't get as good of a workout. It's obvious who the good teachers are, but even they ain't perfect - my fav Sat morn one is always talking about how hungover she is - a paragon of health. Oh well, I'll eventually try other places, but for now I have fun and sweat a lot.response / report this review -

Pros: Happy that they finally got some mirrors in the spin studio - way better! The actual spin room is better at this location because it is larger and more spread out Cons: the sound system sounds really off at this location - not sure why, I just noticed it last time I was here. The location is also a con basically out of the city!!

Highly recommended! HotShop provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere for women AND men. The instructors are all so motivating and push you to do your best. The energy at HotShop Silverado is AMAZING, I always leave feeling so rejuvenated.

My first impression was a cool studio. They have offered first two weeks unlimited free spin, which was a good opportunity to see if this is something that I can commit to. Memberships (regardless type) are very pricey, considering the fact you can use it either for yoga or spin. If you buy spin classes, shoe rental is not included. If you decide to buy your own shoes, the type of cleats you need does not allow you to use those shoes on any other occasion. It is good to watch their schedule before buying any type of membership, I have noticed they started to cancel classes, perhaps due to lack of participation. Considering it is a neighbourhood studio and the fact spring is almost here :-) I believe being very rigid when it comes to price and schedule, will bring them very soon to posting deals on Groupon and such.
