I went in looking for craft beer. I went outside to tell my boyfriend what kind they had (he was smoking) then the guy came outside and accused me of stealing a 6 pack and asked to check my purse, which is actually illegal in BC unless you actually see someone doing it. He did look slightly embarrassed asking, but I was completely thrown off. I don't even think I opened the cooler while I was in the store! I do admit, we were a little tired after driving from Vancouver Island, but we looked nowhere near as sketchy as the local drunks stumbling in. They guy did apologize and said they've had problems with theft, but I don't even understand how I could have stuffed a 6 pack in my tiny purse. Needless to say, we bought beer at the BCL down the road. They have a much better craft beer selection AND it was cheaper!

Good prices and friendly staff. My go to place for cold beer n wine.

Huge selection of beer, wine, hard liquor and lots of singles. Slushies in the summer months are a must. They also have lotto, scratch tickets, cigarettes and chips. A great one-stop shop!
