It's handy since right in town. This place is really small (you'll always find a parking spot) and generally a little on the expensive side. Definitely not like all the big hardware stores - more like something you would see on an old rerun of Andy Griffith

This store is not very good at duplicating keys. A lazy looking old guy did the cutting which took 20 seconds. Went home to try the key and it didn't turn. Went back to the store and had someone else redo it.
A friendly woman who told me the key that I got here was way off. She made a new one which took her 2 minutes and I could tell she was trying hard. She told me afterward that I would get a refund if the new keys didn't work again.
I went home and tried it again. The keys work but theres some resistance. I aligned the old and new keys together and it doesn't match perfectly. I didn't bother coming back since I know it will happen again.response / report this review -

What a difference a generation makes
I was really disappointed with the customer service. I really like to support locally owned businesses but I don't believe I will be back to this Home Hardware. I went in looking for some advice on how to fix a problem with my toilet paper holder. The older gentleman I spoke with was so dismissive and downright condescending I won't be back. I went to Haney Builders and a much younger gentleman was extremely helpful not all condescending and we found a solution to the pesky problem of my toilet paper holder falling apart every time someone touches the toilet paper. In this day and age when a lot of us women are doing our own small home repairs please do away with these outdated rude attitudes!!!!response / report this review -

Yes, you can find plumbing, gardening, electrical stuff And even for kitchen you can find here something.. But not much hardware. Yes, nails and screws are part of hardware. There's enough different kind of screws, nails, bolts and nuts But not much of bearings. :-(

Staff recently not as great, but still use this hardware store the most.
