Description

The Granite Brewery was first established in Halifax in 1985 making it one of Canada's oldest microbreweries. We opened in Toronto in 1991 and now twenty years later, we have three regular cask conditioned ales including our award winning Hopping Mad and six drafts, all brewed under our own roof. On top of that we have a wide array of food on our very extensive menu that should please even the most particular palate.

NOW ON TAP: HARVEST RYE PA (4.6% ABV, 50 IBU). This is the second year we’ve paired with VQH Farms to brew our annual harvest ale. Chinook hops were picked right off the bine and driven straight here to pitch into the boil. These “wet” hops provide a uniquely fresh, slightly grassy hop signature and there’s subtle spice notes from the rye. Try this well rounded autumn ale today on tap or pick up 650mL bottles from the beer store! 🍁🍻

To our beloved friends, family and loyal customers,

Today marks the end of our 25th year, and the start of 25 more. This is a milestone that we are extremely proud of. Anyone in the industry will tell you that starting a brewpub is never an easy task. This was especially true back in 1991 when craft beer was in its early stages. It was a long road to get to where we are today and there were certainly many struggles along the way.

We interviewed Ron to discuss what those stru...ggles were like, his passion for craft beer and what he's most proud of after 25 years.

A huge thanks to everyone for your continued support. It is exactly what inspires us to persevere obstacles, achieve more and of course...keep brewing.

    With indescribable love,

    Granite Brewery
