Very conveniently located close to hotel. If you need to learn or renew an Enform certified course, this college is perfect for flying in and staying within walking distance to morning classes.
In 1986, I returned to college after an 8 year hiatus; nervous as heck! I was enrolled in a "pre-professional" program with hopes of getting into to very competitive Rehab Medicine Faculty at the UofA the following year. I was a young, single mother and had no time to waste! Beginning my "back-to-school" experience in a smaller campus with small class sizes allowed for a more personalized education; where I was experiencing difficulty, the profs were available to assist. Attendance at the GPRC enabled me to achieve the success I needed to get right into the program of my choice.
The counselors, academic advisers and the rest of the Student Development Department were very informed and really cared. They allowed us to learn, experiment (and sometimes fail) in a supportive environment
Stayed here for a summer co-op work term. Pretty great aside from the fact I had to leave and find a place to stay for two weeks. Also I cleaned the house to the best of my ability and still got charged 30$
Grande Prairie Regional College is a great place to learn. The awesome faculty have made college life so much easier for me.
Grande Prairie Regional College is a great place. I feel like I received an excellent education. A lot of the credit should go to the wonderful teachers and instructors. It truly is a wonderful place to get an education.
