WALK IN NOTICE.
We have been doing WALK IN WEDNESDAY for years, and will continue to do so. That being said WALK IN WEDNESDAY started as a day to offer our flash designs to people at a flat rate. You don't have to wait until Wednesday for a walk in tattoo.
On WEDNESDAYS we will have our flash books up front for you to look through and pick some designs our artists have ready to go.
Stop in any other day of the week and discuss your tattoo ideas as well.

I visited Golden Horseshoe today to have one of my ear holes tapered open. I was immediately greeted at the door by Josh, to whom I explained that I have been unable to wear earrings for 5 years due to a new sensitivity but I really want to wear earrings to my upcoming wedding. Unfortunately, I was no longer able to get an earring into one of my ears. Josh helped me right away by explaining why I couldn't get the earring in and tapering the hole open for me. He talked me through the whole procedure and was entirely knowledgeable, kind, and patient as I asked all the questions I had. He even explained to me that my sensitivity was likely a nickel allergy and was able to sell me some beautiful earrings that will not aggravate my allergy. I was truly touched by the genuine kindness Josh showed me when he heard my story. This was my first time at Golden Horseshoe and I was very pleased with the cleanliness and health and safety measures taken. Would definitely recommend!

Had an amazing first experience here getting my nose pierced! Everything was clean, comfortable, and I had the friendliest piercer who made everything so much easier! Then I had and even more amazing second experience here getting my first tattoo. Matt was amazing, and gave me my dream tattoo!

Awesome place. Very clean and Gordon was super friendly even with me being a major wimp! Did an industrial there last spring and my daith and added a 4th set to each earlobe yesterday.

It's always a great experience coming in here. I've had tattoos done by Darryl and Elise and have many more to come. Great people, great atmosphere, clean and friendly environment. I would highly recommend them especially if you are getting your first tattoo. This place is a great introduction and sets the bar high in quality. I haven't had peircings done here (yet) but Gord is also super friendly and fun and will surely put you at ease with his knowledge and skill.

I went to the shop on walk-in Wednesday, originally wanting new jewelry for my double helix. Gord took some time to show me some really creative ideas for a custom piece, and I ended up getting an impromptu daith piercing. Gord helped me pick out a great piece of jewelry for the piercing. Personal touches like that, along his friendly and easy-going demeanor and professional technique, made this my favourite piercing experience to date. I absolutely love my daith piercing, and I will definitely be back! Thank you for the awesome experience!!!

Never got a piercing or tattoo here yet but I walked in there yesterday because I was having issues with my daith piercing. witch i thought needed to be removed but it didn't. Gord was extremely helpful with telling me ways to fix it instead of just taking it out. thank you so much. I will definitely recommend to friends, and come by if I need a new piercing or tattoo. Went in today to get a piece on my arm fixed up. What we thought could have been a write off was, in my opinion, perfectly touched up and brought to life by Jason. I'm so happy that I chose to come to this shop and get it finished, the atmosphere is great - welcoming. Jason completely made my birthday weekend perfect, I no longer feel like I have to hide my arm from people.

My friend and I walked in for a spontaneous piercing each. Gord was super happy to help, showed us some great ideas and gave us suggestions for what works best now and in the future. Being my first piercing, he walked me through it the entire way. We will be returning very soon thanks to this experience!

My girlfriend and I went in on a walk-in Wednesday in mid-July. Jason tattooed both of us, and we are both extremely happy with his work; very professional and very talented. The after-care wrap they use is also top-notch; it's a clear, breathable wrap that peels off nicely the next day. My girlfriend's touch up a month later was no problem as well.

Hey there. So, I've been wanting an ear-heart piercing for ages, and it felt like it took me that long to find a reputable piercer to do it. Living in London, there aren't many reliable places to go to get a great piercing, so I spent a lot of time on the internet looking for a place. The thing I love about the piercing industry is that when you find those great piercers, they're honest enough about their skill level to send you elsewhere if they don't think they have enough experience doing something. I got referred two times before Jesse (Thrive Studios) recommended Gord.
Gord was amazing. Having his studio in Saint Catharines, I had contacted him via email asking for his time and patience with our appointment. We did our entire consultation over email, as well as the purchasing and down payment on my earring. Gord was a fast replier and never left me in the dark about the piercing.
41 emails later, I finally came down to his studio. Nervous, the staff there were extremely helpful until I finally met Gord. Let me just say that he is a great man. Honest, funny, and great company, he chatted with myself and my friend for the entirety of the piercing, even asking my friend if she was doing alright during the appointment! Gord is really friendly and easy to connect to.
My entire stay at Golden Horseshoe was around 30 minutes. He was quick, efficient, and really sterilized my ear before I left. Gord takes pride in his sterilization and considering you're trusting someone to put a needle in your body, I'm personally grateful for it!
Great service, and wonderful company, I'd definitely go back.

Went in to have a piercing I had done somewhere else 2 weeks ago looked at because it is very swollen. When I showed the piercer my microdermal on my finger the first thing out of his mouth is, "well that's a stupid piercing." Thanks for your opinion dickhead not your body, didn't say your facial tattoos are dumb looking, don't criticize me on my piercing choices. I wasn't even taken into adequate lighting for him to see my finger and was told I should se a doctor (finally an answer), He accused me of getting bad jewelry and criticized me again for my choice of getting it done in the first place. I asked if they could take it out for me and they couldn't be bothered. I do NOT recommend this place, take your money somewhere else.

Coolest peeps around!! Always welcoming, awesome atmosphere, great attitudes! All 12 out of 14 piercings have been done by Gord and he's the only piercer I go to! (First holes were done by Claires..)
