  Global was awesome, Both my mother and I had Egress windows installed in our basements. George and his team were professional and proficient. They were in and out in no time, they left our basements perfectly clean. George explained everything to us about these windows with total clarity. Would highly recommend them. Now we are going to use them for my moms outside doors. Thank you George and his team for making this so easy..Christine and Peggy

  George and his crew installed 2 new windows, made 2 existing windows bigger (total of 3 casement egress windows) and 5 window wells (including 1 for an existing window) in our basement in one day. Their crew was very professional and we were impressed by the quality of their work, the material and finishing touches. Uri (the crew lead) was patient explaining what was going on anytime we had a question. I was very happy they took time and tested the drain pipe for each window well after installation. I would definitely recommended Global Improvement Solutions for window (and window well) installation.

  George and his team were very professional and knowledgeable about window installation. We had very small windows in our basement and needed legal-sized windows. George came over to talk to both of us, explain the process, provide a quote; and proceeded to answer all our follow-up questions promptly. They make sure to keep your space clean and if they do make a mess, they are great about cleaning up after themselves. When we had the windows inspected by the city, the inspector said it was some of the best work he's seen. Would happily recommend this company to do work in the future - I know when we need the rest of our windows done, we'll be going back to them!

  After receiving 9 quotes from reputable companies all with good reviews and all with multiple reviews I choose GIS to install 4 new windows in my basement. It was a big job requiring a city permit as the foundation required to be cut down to make way for 3 egress sized windows (overkill but why not) and 1 fire escape size window as per the city permit. Our salesperson George visited our home, reviewed our existing 10” x 30” 1979 slider windows and came up with a plan. George is very courteous and we were impressed by his level of knowledge. George explained the pros and cons of different types of windows, styles, features and the types of glass. George offered his suggestion however he was never pushy or forceful for a decision or money, and based on his recommendation and the information from 9 other companies we found the right windows for our purpose. George thought of things we hadn't considered and things that our other salespeople hadn't mentioned. George was also always available and accessible to patiently answer our questions, and assist with changes and anything else that came up in the time between our contract signing and installation.
  The installation was clean efficient and seamless.
  Day 1 excavation and site prep they took care to cover everything and protect all surfaces around the windows.
  Day 2, installed new window lintels, installed new window headers, cut the foundation, installed the windows, and built 4 window wells that drained right down to the weeping tile.
  The building inspector and fire inspector were both very happy with the workmanship and gave me my stamp of approval.
  Overall, we chose GIS as we liked Georges plan and suggestions, we liked the quality and warranty the company offered, and their price offered excellent value. We would definitely recommend them.
