Love my Varidesk. Amused by some of the negative comments here. It's too heavy? So is your couch, tv, and other objects you generally don't have to move for proper usage. The Varidesk converts very easily to sitting or standing mode (I find I use standing more), and has given me no difficulties. Unless you plan on bench pressing your desk, I highly recommend both the product and the good folks at Fitterfirst.

Love using my Veridesk, the Bamusta Cuatro pad that i use with it helps with fatigue a lot. Being on my feet instead of sitting all day has really made a difference in my energy level throughout the day.

I've been using my Vari Desk for a couple months now, and couldn't be happier! I have a two-tiered model and there's plenty of room for my double monitor set up, with lots a space for a water bottle, speakers, etc. The keyboard tray is great and my mouse (gaming style corded mouse) works perfectly on the surface without a mouse pad. The various heights allows me to be standing on my active board or on the floor with the greatest comfortplus when I'm feeling lazy or need to sit back and digest my lunch, it's very easy and convenient to sit back down and still have a comfortable desk experience.
I highly recommend Vari Desk and Fitter First if you're wanting a better desk and ultimately a better work experience.
P.S. The customer service was amazing! Top notch, lovely people to deal with, and always left Fitter First with a smile on my face.response / report this review -

I have always been into fitness and maintaining a good sense of balance but I never quite knew the extent in which balance played such a huge role in our day to day lives. When I first was introduced to Fitter back in 2010 I was amazed at how innovative the idea of sit stand desks were, the concept of being able to stand OR sit while working was mind blowing to say the least!!! As a growing youth in society I was always restricted at my jobs to sitting for 8+ hours or standing in a 2X2 square for 8+ hours, both majorly sucked!!! It drained my energy, wore out my body and decreased my attention span considerably. In my mind, Fitterfirst was bring the future of work to Canada!
Fast forward five years of loving everything from Fitter later and lo and behold I am a Fitterfirst employee loving my current job more than any other before it!!! Not only did I go into the company knowing majority of their products from simply loving them for the last five years but I also had a huge passion for sharing this pot of gold I had found with the world! I am excited each and everyday to get to work and CHOOSE to sit OR stand, depending on what I know will be best for my body.
I have seen this company donate a wide range of products to non for profit sports associations, low income rehabilitation centres and schools for children with developmental learning impairments all in the hopes of providing a fun, interactive approach to balance training and fitness for everyone of all ages, fitness abilities and financial abilities.
Considering my entire experience with Fitterfirst my option would not be changed if I had never had the opportunity to work for this outstanding company that has made me feel like a valued part of the Fitter Family.
Beyond what they do as a company, they as people are compassionate, caring and understanding to all the obstacles life can through our way, I have never felt more confident or secure in any position as I do at Fitter because I know with honesty will always come respect. They have opened doors for me I never thought imaginable and given me so many opportunities to grow as a person, as an event planner and as a fitness lover.response / report this review -

Anytime I walk in there is always someone around to help and if they don't have the answers they are diligent in finding someone who does. I love my yoga mat and my fitter mat that I stand on to do dishes is so much more comfortable and my back doesn't start to hurt! Thanks again Fitter!!

Some of the highest quality fitness accessories you can find. Any rehab equipment you can think of is here, and the staff are really helpful. Wobble boards are really well made, and their selection of foam rollers and resistance bands is great

I've been experiencing back issues for a few years as a result of injury and daily sedentary sitting. If you don't already know, daily sedentary sitting is considered the new smoking by many industry experts. A few years ago, after constantly stealing my co-workers Swopper while he was travelling, I purchased the Swopper chair from Fitterfirst. I've been using it for about 4-5 years now, it's a great product if you're looking to get more active in daily sitting. Over the past year my back pain has become more frequent and my trips to my Chiropractor ( he likes me way more now) have increased. A couple months ago, I bought a Varidesk Cube Corner 36" and an Active Office board (great for stand-alone office skateboarding) to give standing at work a go. My experience has been excellent and the frequency of my back pain has decreased. I have no problem standing most of the day and recommend giving standing a try to anyone, especially if you currently sit all day.

Called ahead to ensure that the business would be open when we arrived, as it was a 40 minute drive. The representative assured they would stay open until 3pm and so let them know that would be arriving before that. Arrived at 2:20pm and they were closed. Wasted 80 minutes of driving for nothing. Something to be said for Amazon.
