  If you're looking for a good Italian place this isn't it. Staff here are extremely rude, especially the owner. Which is very confusing, you offer a service, why are you rude to your customers??? Boggles my mind. I'm a realtor and will be spreading the word about this place. Just trying to save everyone from a terrible time. There's an amazing Italian on macloed that everyone should go to instead! It's called Pasquale's. To die for!

  Unfortunately went here for one of our few nights in Calgary for a visit. We ordered our food, with one plate that didn't taste right. Instead of suffering through a terrible meal, we told the waitress who grudgingly took it to the back who then continued to make a scene (which we could hear and see). Followed by the manager/owner becoming visibly defensive towards us at the table. The waitress did not wait for us to even finish our food to ask if we wanted the bill. Upon our exit, the manager made another sly comment towards us.
  
  It definitely ruined our last night in Calgary.
  
  Terrible service - I suppose that's why the place was empty on a Saturday night. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

  Heard really good things unfortunately there was no heat in restaurant during lunchtime .. did the breath test and couldn't see breath so it must have been at least seven degrees..
  Waitress messed up order... Delivered salad instead of pizza. But it wasn't even a salad as it had no lettuce. It was just tomatoes and buccunini cheese on a plate. So we waited a while thinking the pizza was coming and these were fresh toppings. . Half hour later we asked and she said we ordered a salad... Begrudgingly took it away (we didn't touch it) then we realized we were out of time and immediately followed her gave $5 for her trouble and cancelled the order and left. No appology!!!

  Went here for lunch a few times. Food is tasty, but the portions are too small, especially for their specials. I don't need much for lunch, but for almost 20 bucks I expect not to leave hungry. My colleagues agreed and felt sorry for suggesting this place for lunch. They had the pasta with meat sauce, which was double the size for less money.

  One of my most favorite restaurants in this city! Always great food! (The butternut squash ravioli with balsamic is to die for). Always awesome service! Quaint and cozy! I have and will always recommend!

  Price wise it was okay, but the food itself wasn't so good. The carbonara had way too much bacon (and I'm a bacon lover), so it kinda made it taste not so much like a carbonara. The spinnaci alfredo was average, the spices used were a little too sweet for my taste. The cannelloni wasn't bad, but the meat was odd, can't explain why, still, not bad. The bread served as an appetizer was really bad, something I wasn't expecting from a place like this.

  Typing this up as I wait 20min for someone to come by. And there is maybe 8 tables. Seems like they never served or had proper training. Bad service and not timely. Nobody came by for a check up. Ordered extra chicken breast +$6.00, and got HALF a breast sliced up pan fried thrown on top. Gross.

  Long story short, ordered (at the restaurant) to take out, got the wrong order, called, was yelled at and instructed to "write the order down next time" so "the waiter can understand you". Ask if I could change the order, was told to take it back so they could "throw it in the garbage". WOW, just WOW, totally "first cl(ass)" service. And no, I didn't go back or would dare to go back again.

  The food is pretty good. The bread is sometimes stale. Good deal on the pasta special nights.
