Don't trust their cancelation policy!
The cancelation policy they sent and confirmed by phone was that the deposit was transferable if you cancel more than 42 days in advance.
I canceled more than 60 days in advance, and they said that the $962.25 deposit was non-refundable and non-transferable.
Walking the Prosecco Hills was fantastic! Great food, amazing vistas, a top-notch guide, and amazingly delicious Prosecco!!
Travelled with them twice. Always a great trip!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, especially the sales and tailor made team.
I did the Mini Annapurna Circuit trip with Exodus in Nepal, and it was one of the best trips of my life. A little bit more expensive than some of the other providers I looked at, but totally worth it. Amazing experience; great staff; very professional operation.
An example: I opted to arrive in Kathmandu several days before the Exodus-led hike was set to actually begin (an extension they helped me plan), but when I arrived my luggage was still in Abu Dhabi! An Exodus rep on-site met me and got me to my hotel even though I was an hour late leaving the airport, and then they helped me work with the local authorities to get my bags recovered before our hike was set to begin.
Oh! And only 1 person in our group had any altitude sickness at all, even though we climbed to 5,416 metres, which I 100% credit to the careful pace set by our guides, and the AMS-prevention tips they provided.
5 stars.
Exodus is great to deal with. Their North America team is always quick to respond and thorough in their answers. I love the variety of trips they offer, and always have a great experience with them!
I have travelled with Exodus many times (among others to Amalfi, Puglia and Iceland) and have nothing but good things to say about them. Good value for money, great personable guides who know their stuff, good hotels, great itineraries. (Disclaimer, I am also a travel agent who sells their product but would not do so if they were not great!)
We had a terrible experience with Exodus. We signed up for a "Self-Guided Cycling in the Douro Valley" several months in advance. Our detailed contacts were asked for by Exodus, but then never communicated to the actual operator. This meant that our agreed pick-up driver never showed up (he had incorrect information) and we had to fumble with international calls and roaming charges to contact a real person on a Saturday morning. Exodus could have offered us compensation on the spot for this ordeal. I wouldn't recommend their trips to anyone. Look around as Exodus charges a fortune.
