As noted by Jason Davidson the beach has been swallowed by the high water levels, what a shame. The road itself hasn't been maintained and has many ruts, washouts and uneven sections, use caution and 4wd is recommended.

Awesome spot. Hardly any people (usually), water was as warm as a bath last summer. It's nice that you can park so close as opposed to some of the other conservation areas. Lots of fossils along the shore, if you're into that kind of thing.

I laughed at the review stating no bathroom. Haha, check out Grand Bend for bathrooms and plenty of beachand restaurants and thousands of people.

    Update June 3 2017
There is no beach to speak of anymore. The water is really high. Also, there is a log and steel wire across the entrance to the "parking area". Maybe that land was owned by someone who doesn't want people to park there anymore. There's nothing else around so I don't see the problem, but who knows.

What a cute spot, curious what the old structure is from? Small quiet spot hidden away! I enjoyed the peace and listening to the waves.

No bathroom and the road is terrible. Will not be back and do not recommend. Hardly any beach and we got stuck.
