  Mr. Edson helped in winning my personal injury case against OPP officer who was not acting reasonable while conducting an investigation. He is very good lawyer, very helpful.

  My 65 year old mother who suffers from Dementia was arrested for entering private property (someone’s front yard) while having memory loss episode. During the arrest she was put on the ground injuring her shoulder and breaking her arm. She had terrible bruises on her arms. She is tiny old and very fragile lady, that was clearly force abuse by police officers. She had to spend 4 nights in a hospital and her arm would never fully heal. Considering the fact it is already hard for her to do day-to-day things due to mental disorder, physical injuries do not make it any easier. Barry Edson was very understanding and professional while handling our case. He treated us with the utmost respect, empathy and dedication. I would highly recommend Barry Edson for anyone who suffered from police misconduct.

  I recently hired Barry Edson to represent me in court against Police office who entered my home in May 2019 without a warrant and my consent. One of our neighbours was having a loud party and another neighbour called a police and they misread house numbers and came to me by mistake. When I opened the door and told them that I have no guests and alone in the house they did not believe me, one of the officers pushed me away and entered the house, walked around the living room and check the backyard. After realizing that im indeed alone they left without even saying sorry. That unlawful search and entry without a warrant was absolutely unacceptable! Barry was successful in defending me in court, he won the case. I’ve received money compensation for emotional distress as well as written apology from both police officers who came to my house.
