Good dance school, very professionally run. The only thing I don't like is that they don't really offer kids a chance to be in competition if they are not very clearly the best in their class. My child has been going there for quite a few years, she has identified special leaning needs and is therefore perhaps a little less "polished" than some kids. She has never been asked to be in competition, even though she attends consistently. I feel all kids should have a chance to shine, and benefit from having the chance to compete, including the kids who might not be the top 10% of their class. I don't like the "elitist" attitude that conveys.

I have no idea where 952207 went, but it was not Diversity. Diversity doesn't enforce a dress code for the Tiny Tots boys, but in every other class it is strictly enforced. They even gave a lesson at the start of the 2011 season for the parents on how to do a proper bun for my daughters' class! My kids, boy and girl, both LOVE Diversity and look forward to attending every lesson. The teachers are friendly, knowledgeable and care about their students. My daughters' ballet skills and confidence have soared since we began at Diversity and my son loves the tap class.

WE LOVE DIVERSITY! My family could not be happier with Diversity Dance!!! Dear not impressed I think you may have Diversity confused with another studio. They have a set dress code which is made clear at the beginning of every year, and is upheld by the students and staff. The teachers are knowledgable, experienced and well rounded. They maintain structure in their classes while still allowing the students to have fun. Regarding the costumes at recital, the dancer's all wore proper costumes ordered from catalogs or custom made, and were of high quality. Recital was extremely organized and the dancers looked beautiful! Again, my children absolutely LOVE Diversity Dance. We have tried a few other studios in Calgary with no luck, and we are now returning for a 3rd season with Diversity. They have learned so much and enjoy going to class every week! :)
