Description

Vipassana means to see things how they really are. Vipassana meditation is self-purification by self-observation. It can be freely practiced by anyone without conflict due to race, community or religion. Course participants live at the centre for the duration of the course and the retreats are done in silence.
Dhamma Karuṇā Meditation Centre is in the village of Youngstown, Alberta – a small farming village in the Canadian Badlands and the heart of the prairies. This location is renowned for its wildlife, especially birds. Dhamma Karuṇā serves four major cities in Alberta and Saskatchewan all within driving range: Edmonton and Calgary; Regina, and Saskatoon.

Plan a trip with friends and family and perhaps include a visit to Tyrell Museum, and you've got a lovely countryside Alberta adventure on Saturday, October 13. Also volunteers needed. Apply online to serve (work period).
