We take our young girls here and I can't say enough good things! Dr Yu is kind and efficient. More recently, Ryan (dental hygienist) took extra time and care to make our youngest feel at ease. He and the front desk staff (I didn't get her name) were patient and kind and went above and beyond to confirm my coverage. All this at the end of their work day too! Highly recommend them especially for kids!:)

Very good disinfecting practices. Feel safe in the office. They have HEPA air filters and an aerosol suction device, plus individually sealed rooms. Great team who are compassionate and knowledgeable.

I just came back from my appointment here and it was great! I noted that I get anxious when I’m at the dentist’s office due to bad past experiences, and all the staff were really friendly and kept asking me how I was doing throughout the appointment and making sure I was okay. They take very good precautions for COVID and I felt very safe while I was there. Being able to choose a Netflix show to watch while everything was going on was an added bonus and a good distraction! The dentist sat with me and explained the results of my x-rays, showing me pictures so that I could understand exactly what I needed to get done and where. Overall, great experience!

Seriously has been the BEST dentist I have experienced - and I've been to a lot Very friendly receptionist, Idalia from the initial correspondence to coming into the office, and even when I was confused/disorganized with my insurance she was very understanding, patient and helpful. Amazing! She really set the tone for the experience.

In terms of the dental work - they asked for and addressed any concerns I may have had as a new patient, the most comprehensive new patient exam that has ever been performed on me and the team walked me through every step when performing work. I got a cleaning and fillings and it was a pleasant experience where I got to watch the Netflix series and episode of my liking which really put me at ease.

In terms of COVID-19 precautions I am very careful and this office is spotless and has air filtration systems in every room which are very powerful (they are loud!) which isn't mandated to have, but I very notably appreciated. This is amongst many other precautions they have put into place.

Just really amazing. I felt safe and comfortable the whole time which is saying something since it's a dental office, and during a global pandemic. Thank you!

Excellent service, even during the current situation with COVID-19. Dr. Yu was available on call even with the office closed, and was able to help me out with my issue.

I am not one to typically write reviews but I felt compelled to do so in support of Dentistry in Waterloo. To date, I have not had as positive an experience as I have with Dr. Yu and his staff at Dentistry in Waterloo. They have provided a level of support, patience and care which has been unparalleled by other dental clinics I have visited. If any person reading this has had the kind of negative past experiences which I have at other dental clinics, then rest assured that Dr. Yu will defy the kind of stereotypes which often coincide with dental visits. He is extremely gentle in his approach and respectful toward the patient's individual needs. I am a person who experiences anxiety when visiting dentists but both Dr. Yu and his staff have a way of mitigating my concerns and making me feel comfortable while in their care. Thank you Dr. Yu and staff, as the time you take, the mindfulness you exhibit, and the care you provide mean more than words can adequately express.

Dr. Yu was my dentist. He is very skillful in filling and is always patient! He took good care of my teeth for two years. I really miss his clinic. :-)

I've had several procedures done in this office and I'm always very satisfied. Dr. Yu is very knowledgeable and his work has the highest quality. He and his staff are genuinely nice and positive and they do everything to make me comfortable during appointments. The office looks great and they have fancy technology to make crowns on the spot while I watch Netflix :)

Everyone at the practice is wonderful! From Janet at the front to Christine and Cathy who clean our teeth to Dr. Yu, the whole team is great! We were in today for my 4 yr old and I had to bring my 6 month old and 3 yr old and they were great never once making me feel like a burden or that we were in the way. Christine also has a wonderful way with kids and my daughter needed no prompting or emotional support throughout her cleaning, was completely at ease. Great team!
