Hey! Hi there! 👋
I’m Zena or Zeen Bean as my family likes to call me and I’m a very loving, spoiled, beautiful 5 year old Blue girl. I’m very shy around men (especially one’s with a hood) and I’m not a fan of thunder storms. I have had some food allergies in the past so I’m on a raw diet. I have been around children, but do not like to be laid on (personal space please!) I wouldn’t hurt a kitty cat, but will bark and chase, so a home without one would probably be best!
I’m not a fan of bossy dogs, but do really well with small dogs and puppies. I love my spot on the couch, so if you could just tuck me in with a blanket, that would be greatIt makes me feel safe.

Saturday February 2nd 1-3 pm at Lick the Whisk in Hamilton! This class puts a twist on the traditional paint nite! Pet artist Katie Favell will teach you how to paint your own pet! Don't feel intimidated if you can't draw because Katie will presketch the canvas with your fur baby and then walk you step by step into creating your own pet masterpiece! There's plenty about Scooby that tugs at the heartstrings. It could be the fact that he's 2, weighs 93lbs (he's gained 5 since rescue) and is still rail thin. It could also be the fact that he grew up in a crate that didn't grow with him and left him with the silliest, most endearing bowed legs. It's probably the fact that even in the face of adversity, he's such a happy boy because he doesn't know he's a little different. I love updates about Scooby's adventureshere's the

Cheers to all in 2019 and a year filled with lots of love and infinite possibilities! We have many fundraising events on the docket for this year. One of our amazing volunteers ~ Nikki, did a Christmas wrap drive this past month, to raise funds for our organization. She raised over $300 for the Danes in our care!!! 😳❤️🐾

Daisy (AKA Lauren) all settled into her forever home! This beautiful girl has become quite the love bug and her new Mom & Dad love watching her and her fur-brother Oscar, play & cuddle ❤️ They’re adorable together!

This handsome lug went on his very first ferry ride last week on his way to his new home! Dane sized thanks to his foster fam ~ Judy, Ron & Peanut for giving him a safe spot to land during his stay with us. He is loving his new folks and settling in wonderfully!
