Check the schedule online or call and ask. The music is live (either keyboard or a band). There is a bar (snacks, alcohol, drinks) and some nights have dinner before the dancing. They play a lot of polka, waltz, fox trot, Dixie. The floor was laid on a horse hair subfloor so it's soft and beautiful to dance on. Wear good shoes because you'll be up there one way or another!

A family trip to Danceland on Toonie Tuesday is like traveling back in time. Old time polka, waltz, and even the chicken dance. Fun for the kids and grownups too.

Horsehair floor is easier on the feet than regular flooring. Band was great as was the overall ambience. Has a great time and met some wonderful people. Beer is reasonably priced at $4.50. I would definitely return!

Had our wedding at danceland! What a unique place. Our guests had a great time and were incredibly impressed with the venue! Wonderful food and Millie along with her staff were great to work with. Would recommend this place to anyone planning a party!

Fantastic live music dance hall. Must been seen, it's like stepping back into the 1940's. Help save Danceland Ballroom from the rising waters of Lake Manitou. Stop in for a tour or the dance and buffet and make a donation we did!

Largest hall I have ever seen. Unique horsehair under the hardwood floor which softens the dancing so that you can 'dance all night long'. The owner hosts weddings and dances at this venue. She was getting ready for a Valentines dance this past weekend. Buffet included. The hall been there for 86 years.

We hosted our wedding here this summer. Millie and her crew did an amazing job. They were incredibly accommodating and easy to work with. The food was AMAZING. I can't say enough good things about our experience. Thank you!

An absolutely must visit. The dancefloor is almost floating and as a result this you can dance for hours. They also serve lunch, provide tours, aside from the dances or private functions. The also have toonie Tuesday and encourage all ages to come listen to music and dance. A great idea of bringing back fun, quality family time. Milly is a fabulous owner/operator.
